I tried to a few years ago and it was missed by so many people. I tried a few cricket and rugby calls and those were also missed by most. I have to admit though, I didn't have quite as many followers and people didn't really know about my history as much as they do now. I suppose I could consider trying it again. I know this was 13 days ago, but I play a lot of aram, and I just played a game where I got body blocked several times by LL and even tested it by trying to walk around them and they redirected my path and made me do that thing where my model just spins around in circles because it can't find a path

Quickshot once again I wanna comment on your own answer just to tell you how much I think you're a god at what you do, I've been thinking this yesterday when Fros made a Power Rangers reference and you managed to twist that reference to then make your game introduction sentence. You're honestly amazing and as much as I like the other casters, when you're on I know i'm gonna enjoy it a lot

I've got British Parents, but was born and raised in South Africa (JHB). I lived there for 22 years, but travelled a lot to the UK, I'm mostly British english but with a SAffa twang as it were. I don't quite sound like a pure bred South African, but I don't sound British either lol. I guess it's a weird one.
I want to clarify that Papa will be joining us for Week 7 only, as a guest on our broadcast and will be taking part in Ready Check, Analyst Desk, PGL and casting games. The LEC tweet implied it was AD only. There aint no way I'm bringing that man to EU and NOT getting myself some PapaShot time on broadcast. We will be casting together, and he will be casting with the rest of the caster team as well.
Just to clarify that Papasmithy will be a GUEST caster on our broadcast, much like the other guests that join us on a short term basis. He will cast, AD and join our Ready Check and PGL segments on both Friday and Saturday week 7. See ya there

unfortunately, i couldn't meet Fnatic nor G2, but met a lot of players (i even saw Amazing walking around)
My friend did get the chance to 1v1 Drakos as jax vs yasuo and won as well (i did tweet it, he liked it)
I hope that i get another shot one day to meet quickshot, froskurinn, Yamatocannon and several others someday.

Hey Quickshot, I had the pleasure to hear you cast live for the first time and chat with you at Rotterdam this spring! I've been tuning in since the EULCS days in 2013 and have heard your commentary for so long that I consider your casting to be the voice of European LoL. It was amazing to see you and your colleagues' energy on the broadcast live on stage!
The entire broadcast crew really have done a wonderful job this year - the rebrand absolutely transformed the league and made it all the more enjoyable to watch. As much as the EULCS was enjoyable I thought it closer to the NALCS' little sibling in terms of production and glamour until the rebrand; absolutely killed it in execution!

For what it's worth, I really dislike that, sorry.
I would much rather you all wore suits and ties. But then again, I am 38 and a married professional, so I suppose I am a fossile as far as esports are concerned.
Still watch the LEC religiously though.
I totally respect and appreciate your opinion, but trust me when I say that my 20 year old casters who have never worn a tie in their lives tries, it's better if they wear bomber jackets and tees.
At the end of the day, our fashion choices are taste, and if you like or dislike it, it's a minor factor of the show. Considering we are on camera for 10-15mins of every hour maximum, between player shots, gameplay, adverts, graphics etc. Fortunately the look of the show isn't the defining factor and most viewers can agree to that!
I am curious, was the fashion choice of dressing down the broadcasters a concious attempt at distincting themselves from NA, or a natural progression.
Personally I think the tone of fashion fits the LEC broadcast & the european attitude more. I think it helps add flair to the broadcast & give it a less corporate feeling - which makes more sense in Europe!

It's been something our office has been slowly working towards over the last year and a half. We've found a fantastic stlying team that help give each caster their own unique look, but also bringing down the suits and jackets as standard because it better reflects the individuals on air as well as our viewers at home.
This isn't tied to the LCS specifically, but more about defining our broadcast as unique and different. We don't wanna look like clones of every other esport, or even traditional sport, we are making our own product, our own decisions and trying to do it in a way that feels right for our fans and viewers. I'm glad you're liking it though and I hope this gives you some more context.
