So now we see Pantheon and I feel like you can finally clear this up.. Was "Aphelios" code name for the Pantheon rework? Keep in mind if you ignore this, i'm just going to assume the adc is named Aphelios. I have you at the end of a sword right now!!

The caster's do a fine job casting for fans, but there is a gap in information between pros and casters in terms of what's actually happening in the game. Solutions to fix the gap so cast could better represent pros:
- Visit teams and observe scrims
- Listen in on comms in champ select or the game
- Survey players weekly about team strength to have a better idea going into predictions what is happening
This is not a tl;dr, just the suggestions I make at the end that are actionable.

Weldon, awesome post and thanks for taking the time to put together some ideas. Here are a few things to consider from our end. -replying to actionable items-
Comms and champ select are off limits for a lot of things. We don't reveal strategies or what the teams talk about during this time unless it's a funny mic check. If you are down with us using all CLG comms in the future as information about the team that would be sick~
Visiting teams and observing scrims is something we have been trying to do for a while. I recently went to FlyQuest and Dash to Counter Logic Gaming's Facility. It seems that a lot of the teams prefer to not have the casters reviewing scrims and such. Just an opinion there, it's awesome you don't mind and would love to utilize that moving forward~
Surveying players weekly would be be interesting and time consuming on both ends. I can't say I agree that it's less work by us in preparation xD. Sourcing meaningful info from 50+ messages ...

I previously just concluded it was 'lollipopping', but now you motivated to do my own testing really quick to distance myself from relying on the popular scapegoat being the right one:

So why does the dummy get hooked instead of the script detecting collision with the wall first?
It couldn't be that the dummy just gets hit by the to-edge detection before the wall is reached by the projectile, since the wall is a minimum 100u wide in this place and dummy hitbox is 65, or 80 if I misremembered. My guess would be that the projectile is checking which hit(s) it should have done only after every full frame, prioritising champions/units before walls,...
NautilusQ is quite old. Because of that, it was made at a time where we didn't have a lot of the tools that we do now. Looking at it, it's quite impressive it was able to achieve what it did haha.
The bug you have outlined comes from the missile looking for enemies and walls on different intervals, basically. When a wall is REALLY thin, it might find an enemy on the other side before it finds the wall itself.
Sometimes we will clean up old spells like this, but it's risky. It might break in ways we don't expect or just flat out behave differently, which can screw over mains of a champion.

The folder / log title will have the time and day it was created (which is usually when you played the game, or ended the game).
IIRC the ram and the hauntling always have unit collision when they other 3 don't at all

Hi Reav3! Are VGUs gonna be like these from now on? You said Morde was last of the full scale ones and I notice more of a preserving the old gameplay/modernization of what he has here.
It always depends on the Champ and what problems need to be solved on the Champ. I imagine a Champion like Skarner, for example, would need a lot more changes and updates then a Champion like Rammus, or Mundo
Which missiles do have a lollipop? Lollipopping keeps being used as a scapegoat of sorts, so it would be nice to know which spells actually have it.
Most likely a ton. It takes time to investigate each one, and it can be done in a couple of ways. I just happen to be looking into NautilusQ to try and resolve these other issues.

My teammate (Urgot) glitching out from being blocked by the hauntling
So I just played a game with only moledivers and the bird thing, and there was no unit collision on those, so I think the unit collision is only on the ram thing and the hauntling.
A question if you could help us out:
1) Were these little legends blocking from the start of that game and just always blocked/had collision throughout the entirety of it?
OR
2) The little legends randomly had collision sometimes, and sometimes not throughout the game.

We actually looked into this missile specifically. It does not do an extra lollipop in the script at the end.
There are a couple things going on with Nautilus hook:
1) The indicator is just flat out too short
2) The visuals of the missile disappear before it is actually finished traveling
Number 2 is a big one here, because it looks like the missile has "resolved", when it's actually still there moving forward just no one can see it.
I'm going to submit a change that increases the length of the indicator and makes the missile effect last the full duration.
This won't change any gameplay, but should make it more clear to everyone when the missile is actually finished traveling.
