You guys probably do already, but maybe communicate some of the issues that arose with the LCS production team so they can avoid similar hiccups.

We're in contact with one another, but each region has it's own challenges so both approaches to the remote shows are not (and cannot be) the same. We appreciate how supportive everyone has been in understanding the issues faced by the broadcast teams, so thank you again. Stay safe, and if you know any broadcast engineers, be extra nice to them around this time because they are working HARD to keep entertainment on the screens for us all to enjoy.

It is very very very very very very very very very good. I love the way it came together.

Hello everyone! Riot Crower here, Head of Live Production in EU.

So, we got the LEC Back! But clearly it was not in the best shape it has been.. We had multiple issues with the show yesterday as I am sure you all noticed, especially with regards to connectivity and audio, that ultimately forced us to deal with a lot of pauses and even broadcast one of our games without any casting audio

The team worked tirelessly to bring the show back this week, and overnight to tackle the issues that we saw yesterday. We have a lot of changes and improvements behind the scenes that will help us deal with as many curve balls as destiny wants to throw at us, and should ultimately give us a better online show today and going forward. Hopefully you will all notice that when tuning in today.

I thought it might be helpful if I explain a bit further exactly what problems we experienced, give you some context about our technical setup and the complexities of operating our show rem...

Hijacking to say please don't do this. We have very simple and easy to read policies around developing products around Riot Games. Please read the Legal Jibber Jabber (yes that's what it's called) and the policies on developer.riotgames.com.

I get AP junglers on my team more often than AD junglers tbh.

If it's my photo that you're referencing. It's primarily for the echo in my spare room. The echo is so bad I have to cover the wall and monitors to try reduce the impact on my microphone.

We are halfway through the first day of LEC Remote broadcast and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone at home watching, to everyone that put this together.

I'm sitting at home playing a coordinating role today honestly I'm just blown away at the response from the viewers at home and even more impressed by the production team. We started investigating how to produce the LEC from home, and keep all the major elements of the broadcast so that it was still LEC Quality. At the time of posting we have completed two games and I'm happy with the current state. For the first ever remote broadcast of LEC planned with less than 4 days, relying on our home internet connections and with so many different variables.

It isnt a perfect broadcast, and we are working through audio issues as well as new slew of technical challenges to work through. I'm optimistic that we can increase the quality and address these problems one by one over the coming shows. Please be patient with...

Swain is a 53% winrate midlaner. If you want to say he's not fun in mid that's fine, but saying he's weak just isn't correct. If you play him mid you will win games.

Swain also has one of the highest depths of play in the game (top 10-15 vs. the entire roster). It's comparable to characters like Yasuo, Lee sin, Nami, and Katarina. Depth of play is how much a player will play the same champ over and over again. We believe having high depth of play is a good thing because it means Swain players tend to jump on him and never stop playing him. It means Swain mains play A LOT of Swain.

Before the mini-update his depth of play was average at best and his overall playrate was well below average. As far as I can tell he's been massively improved (going from average to top 10-15) despite being played more often as a support.

Seems like there's a lot of people out there who enjoy current Swain quite a bit.

Hey Scruffy,

I was wondering if anyone at Riot was looking at a big bug on Maokai. I'm not sure of the exact way to trigger it, it's possibly related to using TP, but a lot of times when I return to lane from the base my passive will proc when I am full health. Usually it doesn't matter too much because it seems to mostly happen when no enemy champions are nearby, but I have had a few instances where it negatively affected a trade. I have reported this bug a few times for the past few patches since the Immolate changes have made Maokai feel playable again, but I have seen nothing about it.

I would also ask for a potential minor fix in how the Immolate burst works on a few champs. I have noticed that when Nautilus autos, if the target dies it doesn't trigger the burst, which is helpful when farming. I would also ask that something similar could be done with Maokai's Q. I have had many instances where my Bami's/Sunfire goes on cooldown at a crucial time because I u...

Thanks for these, they both sound like bugs that we should fix.

We're starting at a one a month cadence, but if the demand is there we are definitely considering doing them more frequently.

Solo lane support items are significantly nerfed as we intended.

Funnel is probably not quite there, but we can continue to ramp up the gold and XP penalties until its balanced.

Pasting my twitter reply:

Riven seems stable on our end - sitting around 51% wr at high elo. Not op but definitely viable.

I’m guessing her builds are a bit altered after 10.6 so there may be some more adaptations for players to do.

In part i think buffed hydra is helping her RN

Also, RE: reworked Fiddlesticks. His portrait icon in champ select / mini-map needs a change. Just like Aphelios's, because the one on PBE currently is too bright and zoomed out. Hard to identify s at a glance.

Thanks for the feedback, will pass it on to the fiddle pod.

Also, we're doing a bunch of upgrades for clash over time - scouting phase will get a bunch of tweaks now that we've seen it played a few times.
