In addition to the other suggestions below, I strongly suggest going to your settings and UN-checking "enable autopass". It's why the game moves ahead without your permission sometimes.

Ouch, I'm sorry this has hit you hard. It's a high priority fix. In the meanwhile, you can close the app and reopen it to be where you left off (including the same game and board state), but it's easy to accidentally surrender instead. I've done it myself once or twice.

Yeah that's a totally understandable interpretation. The flavor represents bowling over opponents; so if a little barrier unit blocks a giant elephant it smashes past and keeps slamming into the nexus. It's "overwhelm" not "overkill".

Your assumption makes total sense too, it's just not the flavor or gameplay we wanted to emphasize.

Yeah, sorry about that. We're aware and working on a fix. It'll likely be live end of month along with a lot of other stuff (barring unforseen events of course). In the meanwhile, you have to restart the app to make it go away. At least that's what I do.
