Like how big of a difference does it make for him at 3 or 4 stars?

It’s one of the best relics for many champions. Might be even more impactful on non asol since base 4 star asol is so strong it barely needs to get stronger if you have skills. But the relic makes many, many different champions with higher costs stronger.

That’s a huge achievement! Congratulations!. It normally takes multiple months for people to get 70/70.

tPOC already has weekly quests and rewards. Maybe just need to rename to weekly vault the weekly pvp vault, because that’s what it is.

Another point, commissioning new art also takes a long time. Even if you ignore cost entirely, comissioning original art would probably delay the release by many weeks depending on artist availability and how many revisions are needed.

When I was on Hearthstone, a game with a huge budget, this type of delay was the biggest obstacle to releasing a cool new card as part of a bonus event or similar. When we did the Taverns of Time arena event, that was only possible because it reused art from the World of Warcraft TCG. Designers often have cool ideas that need card art, but waiting for new card art would take forever - so they can reuse existing art to get the mechanic in the game. It's just much more noticeable in LoR because the base art quality is so high.

yep, that's exactly right. battlepasses will replace these when they're ready

Legends of Runeterra doesn't exist in a vacuum, and the value of it's in game purchases are not weighed only against themselves. I could buy a $20 bundle, which gives some make believe currency to power up a champ that's already powerful, OR, I could buy an entirely new game that I can download and play forever. As opposed to LoR, which will one day be taken offline.

I know the game suffers from lack of income, but their whale hunting is a terrible strategy. I was really interested in the cait + vi bundle. For $10 I could swing it. For $40? For a pair of champions I'm never taking into nightmare weeklies? I could buy a handful of games on my steam wishlist.

Lots of people have massive steam backlogs. They don't necessarily *want* to play another game, they want a cool new toy for their favorite game. I could buy a whole stand-alone boardgame for the price of a new Commander deck in MTG, but I don't necessarily want to play a new standalone boardgame right now. If you do, that's totally fair. There's a lot of cool games out there.

I do know that, I'm just debating if it's not a little boring to just use it as plus one mana. But I guess it's useful for harder stuff so I'll get it I guess

It's pretty fun to have 1 extra mana on what are usually more expensive champions. Also the bonus effect rarely matters outside of Asol but is super fun on Asol. Asol's strong enough already, but the bonus fun factor I get from the extra surprise champions is considerable.

Also finally glad to have a z-drive replacmeent.

I don't see much use to stacked deck similar to golden spatula, you generally only get +1/+1 and it's really hard to hit 42 cards ( much less 40 cards for the power that reduces cost by 1 per 20 cards )

Also huge for people who've been waiting:

Starforged Gauntlets is now available

Let's GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Idk, why does he feel the need to brag so much if he’s sooo much better than us? I’m sure there’s much stronger entities out there. “But then why haven’t we heard of them?” Well they don’t feel the need to boast about it.

He's a cosmic wonder, not a cosmic horror. Our feeble mortal minds cannot begin to fathom the magnitude of his hype.

In a fan of immediate gratification for games like this. Getting the cool thing now can help you get more cool things later, and since there’s some serious RNG involved in beyond 3 star progression might as well enjoy what you have.

I did clear with Jinx using the Mortal Marks strat.. worked wonders but is a bit rng reliant lol.

I got insanely tilted with Leblanc vs the guy that nabs your cards.. I was running double guardian orbs and he stole my cards and wiped my board with them.. so I guess you do need to be really careful about the powers at each encounter.. but still its so tilting lol.

Check out this build that kills lissandra with a 2-star champion and common relics: https://www.reddit.com/r/PathofChampions/comments/1b5yd2i/this_build_kills_lissandra_with_common_relics_and/

Lissandra is just a very different adventure than others. It punishes going fast and instead gives you a chance to play control in most fights. You also should pick your path based on what enemy you don’t want to face more than the rewards behind that enemy. You also should try buying cards from the shops and spending rerolls in the shops looking for cards that give your decks key missing ingredients to handle lisssandra.

Lissandra herself is about 4 things:

  1. Deal with onslaught of the frozen thralls
  2. Deal with t...
