  • All players should have access to Theros Beyond Death basic lands
    • Note: This only refers to the regular basic lands. The Nyx basic lands will be available to all players at a later date.
    • If you do not see the Theros Beyond Death basic lands in your collection, please contact support for further assistance.
  • Players who redeem codes from the Ashiok and/or Elspeth Planeswalker decks no longer incorrectly receive Nyx basic lands as part of the in-game deck.

Can I ask what the reasoning behind this ruling is? I just ended up looking up the ruling after returning to nature a dreadful apathy after its ability is on the stack. It seems strange that "Exile enchanted creature" resolves when there is no enchanted creature when the ability resolves.

The notion is that "creature" in "enchanted creature" is just clarifying text, not actually constraining. It really means "the object that this is (or was via last-known information) attached to". There are similar rulings around phrases like "that creature" or "the chosen creature" - they really just mean "the same object we referred to before, it doesn't still have to be a creature." #wotc_staff

Appears to be a bug. I'll look into it today. #wotc_staff

The placeholders, they are seeeeecret! We probably shouldn't show them in that menu though. #wotc_staff

Hey, just wondering if this is a known issue also:

In sealed the other day, I played the Entrancing Lyre and tapped it to tap opponent's creature. In response they played Return To Nature and destroyed it.

Their creature remained tapped every turn, even though the Lyre didn't exist. Also, the trigger for the Lyre remained on the screen and never went away for the rest of the game, obscuring other triggers.

edit: Some other details I recalled, not sure if it will help - the creature I tapped was a black token. I believe it was a 2/2 from Aphemia or the Tymaret Calls The Dead saga. It had a counter and an enchant on it, the one that doubles counters. Hydra's Growth.

Yes, we have a fix for that too. #wotc_staff

Known issue, we have a fix. Has to do with weird code that was trying to make Blood Moon style interactions work, but ended up being a bit overzealous. #wotc_staff
