You could also just use "Good Game". It's okay to lose, it happens to everyone (and fairly often). If someone needs to learn how to pilot a deck, unranked queues are the perfect place to do it.
But as stated a few times already. GG gets taken as an insult by a portion of the playerbase already... specifically because tilted players only got GG to throw at you

Any emote can be taken as an insult, depends on context. Just say "Good Game" and move on with your life. One of my favorite things about MTG Arena is that I can play a lot of games rather quickly. Say GG, concede/lose, and queue up again!

[[Nicol Bolas, Dragon God]] gonna also be a sad lil' lizard like normal planeswalkers. "You forgot me..."

(Also, thanks for your daily-shop posts, you saved me the trouble so I can pass on today's one)

We sent Bolas and [[Chandra, Fire Artisan]] to their rooms with everyone else. They do *technically* have passives, but they really aren't going to work the way players would want, so we thought we'd save folks a little pain.

And, uh, it looks like [[Jace, Arcane Strategist]] got hit with the banstick despite having a viable passive? That's an error on our part, but at this point, we're probably gonna let it ride. Sorry about that. :|

I want the crack that people in the pet making department are smoking.

How do they even come up with things like a mechanical owl, gemstone foxes and puppet jace? Is this what people think about when they hear "Magic the Gathering"?

All of the pets that we have made are pretty much in Magic cards and/or follow the theme of the set. Owls are very important in Greek mythology, there's a fox in [[Glass Casket]] (plus it fits the Eldraine theme, [[Wildborn Preserver]] anyone??), Puppet Jace was in [[Cult Guildmage]], the dragon was literally [[Dragon Whelp]], etc.

We just like to make cool pets.

They adressed most of the hot topics on this reddit in a single update. Why split hairs over event/content costs, thoose could be subject to change in the future.

Lets bloody rejoice over the fact that they are testing out phantom draft, cube, human drafts are in the pipeline, some QOL improvements (chat and emote have been requested on this reddit on a daily basis.) Improving new player experience is also not extraneous to established/longtime mtg players as we all have an interest in seeing this game grow for many reasons.

If nothing else, this shows that they do indeed listen to what we say.

Great work Wizards, thank you.

I'll pass along the compliments. Thank YOU for playing!

I don't know if there are any MTGA employees who read these but please please please, a Mac client!

We definitely read these, and we're working on it! Just don't have any details that we can share yet. Sorry about that.

Hey, USER14.test is a friend of mine and a great person.

The March game update is sure to put a spring in your steps and phases with new cards, new features, new events, and new ways to interact with your fellow players.

Nice? Nice.

HISTORIC ANTHOLOGY II

In case you missed it last week, we announced that we'll be adding 25 cards to MTG Arena as part of Historic Anthology II.

With Historic Anthology I, our primary goal was to open up the options for Historic decks to start bringing the greater breadth that a nonrotating format should support. We felt like this landed fairly well, with cards like ...

If you're having an in game issue, please submit it to our support team or bug forum! Click the Support button at the top of this page.
Is that a way of saying the forum was closed to new posts? Like some kind of consolidation?
The Player Support section of the forums has had posting turned off for a while, because we have changed our process for troubleshooting and reporting bugs over time.

so now they are doubling down of the ridiculous bug report system that gives no feedback to the player and I believe only has 5 resolved issues on record

This has been our process for quite some time now, and things posted are resolved all the time! I'm not sure what feedback you're looking for. If something reported is a bug, and...

It's confusing for new players when you just randomly explode at 50 health, and a more prominent graphic would really improve how great it feels to go off with [[Revel in Riches]] or [[Etrata the Silencer]]. Something more than a half-second trigger on the normal stack that you don't even have time to read – sometimes I don't even know if I was allowed to win or opponent conceded!

This is maybe my second-biggest "as a player" want for the game. And I'm also the jerk that has to keep pushing it further down the schedule. One day.

Good list; I especially appreciate the detail around why you want these things and the reasonable, friendly tone. Some quick thoughts:

01) Expanded comment selection - As others have pointed out, this needs to be carefully handled to avoid generating more annoying/spammy situations for players. We'd like to find a way to give the good parts without also bringing the bad. We feel like we've got a handle on that; you'll want to check out the State of the Game that drops in a few days.

02) Two more seconds - To do what you want (give the "Good game" response) we'd also have to hold an opponent that already conceded in the match for another two seconds. If a player concedes, they want out quickly and we don't want to get in the way there.

03) Allow us to friend opponents - As others have pointed out, in other games this is most often used for toxic, rather than friendly, reasons. We would like to deliver the good parts here, but absolutely don't want to inflic...
