We want to give you an update on what's been happening behind the scenes since our recent manifesto about upcoming Delirium Improvements.

Paralysing/Wasting/Eroding/Diluting Touch Debuffs
These debuffs have been reduced substantially, down to 3 seconds. This change is already out on the live realm.

Monster Damage
  • We've gone through all Delirium monsters and assessed which ones need to be less deadly and have made those tweaks. We've made the following changes in this regard:
  • Reduced the difficulty of Delirium monsters at each mist depth (while increasing the drop rate of Simulacrum Splinters as part of the same rebalance).
  • Reduced the chance of Delirium modifiers appearing on monsters by a significant amount.
  • Reduced the damage that Rage monsters deal by 20%.
  • Disgust's mortars no longer deal damage on impact.

I feel like we're trying to trade off risk vs. reward, but it's very hard without having a good idea what the reward is. I'm in T16 maps at AL8 without skipping league content, and I still couldn't give anyone a solid answer on how the mist affects mobs, other than by adding splinter drops.

This is partly what the depth meter would be looking at but it's a bit complicated so I can't easily give an answer right now.

We have some improvements coming in a patch that should hopefully be out today.

I believe the plan is to bring them in line with existing ones. (There are also several other changes coming to the on-death effects - most notably, there will be far less of them.)

I’ll find out. We have another patch coming hopefully today so I think it would be good for console players to have that too. I’ll ask Jeff and see if we can update the thread in the console forum.
