Yea, that’s a cool idea. I’ll have to check with Carto, Wrel and co where there thinking is right now. It definitely is a topic we could/should really dive into whenever we’re able to livestream next.

It's still (very) early for us to fully analyze how OW impacts the meta, given we haven't yet started qualification for our first preseason - and I'd emphasize that it IS a preseason, one we intend to use to gather community feedback so we can change, iterate, balance, etc. I 100% agree that what it means to be the "best" Outfit in PS2 isn't entirely clear-cut and quantifiable, and we don't want qualification to simply turn into a farming simulator for the biggest Outfits.

Apart from continuing to make changes to refresh the competition itself (I don't want to overtease before we've even played our first "war" but I think we have some pretty cool concepts that could play out ove...

Hello everyone,

In light of the constantly expanding efforts and restrictions throughout the world to deal with the COVID-19 situation, beginning tomorrow (Tuesday the 17th), the Rogue Planet Games dev team will begin working from home. While this will result in a pretty significant adjustment in our day to day development process, we are taking steps to ensure that our ability to support Planetside 2 is not disrupted in any measurable way over the coming weeks – we will be hotfixing live issues as needed, as well as continuing to work on upcoming feature/content releases. So lots of team voice chat, and hopefully not a lot of accidentally leaving web cams on.

Tomorrow (Tuesday), we have scheduled a full client/server update with several bug fixes. Of which, details can be found here - ...

We’re discussing make goods, but focused on shoring up the issues first. Hang tight, we’ll make it right.

yup, see my reply to u/IrishKing above. Working to get this tested and verified before tomorrow morning's planned hotfix (6am on Tues March 17).

We have a fix in the works that we're testing now, for tomorrow's hotfix (planned for 6AM PDT). But yes, absolutely high-priority, just need to be sure it's *actually* working as intended before rolling out the details.
