You're absolutely right about the angle and obstructions. We literally debated this on Wednesday and agreed that even though it was broken, it looked great and totally intentional. But it would break sh*t.

Capture rewards split - those are separate from the resource values each region has for territory control. But I need to double check the values, which are still being tuned (and will continue to be post-update).

But tl;dr, it’s technically possible solo, but much much easier with comrades

Technically yes - if you participate in successful base/facility captures, acquired resources from the capture are split btw participating Outfits, and your “Outfit” would be credited with a cap share. But unless you’re a one-man army, you’re probably not single handedly taking, defending and controlling territory to accelerate resource gain.

So yea...it’d be tough sledding solo, I’d suggest recruiting :)

These are rather relevant questions for your big Escalation update, yes?

I'm working on community content for launch day with more details, but the tl;dr version is:

1) There are 3 new resource types

2) Outfits can collectively acquire them by participating in captures and/or controlling territory. Acquired resources are deposited in the Outfit Armory, where they can be spent on War Assets.

3) All territories will have a resource value which will be clearly denoted on the continent map

We'll likely continue tuning, adding and balancing for some time after the update (along with parallel systems like Outfit Loyalty and Merit), but the basic idea is to incentivize and reward Outfits for meritorious collective actions on behalf of their Empire.

Yes, in (very) close proximity to the old center. We've been planning the move for awhile, and worked with Daybreak OPS to time it around the update so A) downtime requirements will overlap, and B) you won't get a big, honking 12 hour downtime in the week(s) following the update when servers will be most active.

But there will be no change in connection quality, given the proximity.

Update remains the same for PS4 as we've been saying for the past few weeks - we fully plan intend to bring over the full Escalation update to PS4, which will include/require bringing over construction. We've only just begun scoping out the effort/time required so it's too early to share a PS4 launch date - we'll begin the work in earnest once PC goes out - but it's definitely one of our major priorities post-update.

Before - possibly as early as tomorrow, though there's a chance we may try to run another large-scale playtest tomorrow or over the weekend (and reward the helmet to anyone who joins and missed the first two playtests).

I'll check if there is a specific bug that we're tracking around this issue - I haven't seen it pop up before, but if it's affecting others as well we should be looking at it.
