What if you don't want glow or pulse effect on loot? Why can't I have it the way it was before? Why is this horrible orange glow forced on everyone?
Every ammo stack looks like 9mm. And if there's multiple items they get hidden in the glow.
This is a bug that was hotfixed a few hours ago. Selecting the "glow" effect in the loot flash effect setting will get rid of the orange glow.

Shield is connected with the Krafton ID. So whatever email/username and pass you've made to access your Krafton ID will be the same login info for Shield. The username you see on your profile page on Shield is only visible by you - it does not get shared if you submit a report.

How to disable the orange/brownish glow effect?
After the update, settings only allow you to change between glow and pulse. Before you could disable it entirely.
The setting you are looking for is Highlight recommended ammo/equipment.
We are aware with an issue associated with this feature that causes it to get re-enabled after you restart / relaunch the game and have reported it internally.

- The 200 hitpoints does not feel good. Most weapons are balanced around 100 hitpoints, and doubling the required htk makes some weapons unusable (skorpion is a 20+ htk, crossbow a 2-4 htk, can't practice with a sidearm, and the TTK on shotguns is silly high). Never used to have issues with crashes but all of my squad are crashing consistently now
Hey, your game / system files may have gone corrupt due to a faulty update download or similar. Please try verifying the game files, if that does not help then perform a clean reinstall by replacing all game files (anticheat and config files as well). Further you can scan your system for corrupt/missing important OS files by using the DISM and SFC windows commands.

This is a case of corrupted game files. Downloading fresh files fixed the issue. Glad that you were able to resolve it!

Regarding the recent crashing issues that some players have been experiencing / reporting in the past weeks - we have been working with the dev team by providing player reports, crash reports, any info we could see being reported around the community. The dev team has not been able to find an issue on the game's end.
Looking at posts such as yours over the past few weeks we could conclude that the crashing issues are not caused by 1 and the same thing, that they are not related to certain hardware and that they are not widely spread.

Hey OP, thanks for sharing what helped your issue. Corrupted game / OS files are often the culprit of crashing issues. Files can go corrupt due to a faulty update install, driver updates can carry a corrupted file, there are many ways to cause issues like these unfortunately. Downloading fresh files / replacing or repairing windows files usually helps resolve many performance related issues in various apps.
