Hi all,

when i try to install Rainbow six siege it will give me the: not enough disk space error. I've tried to install it on my c: drive (140GB free space), my d: drive (165GB free space) and my normal hdd e: drive (940GB free space). it will give me the same error each time when i download the game.

I've already tried to use all my drives and reïnstall Uplay. Does anyone have some advice?

With kind regards,

Asselith

What drive is Uplay on? Please try installing it on the same drive while Uplay is running as administrator.

Is the issue that you are unable to install the game or that you are unable to play the game? Did running as administrator allow you to finish installing, kotton420m?

Thanks for sharing your solutions AtyresM. and kotton420m!

Molimemes do any of the suggested fixes work for you?

Edit: I guess there is no way, i can get a free game key for steam and the Uplay-Launcher-Version suspended?!
We don't have the ability to do that on the forums, if you'd like to see if this is a possibility please contact our Support Team.

Hey H20RKGNO,

Have you tried any of the steps in this thread?

1. Make sure you are installing the game on the same drive as Uplay PC.
2. Have you verified the game's files?
3. Is Uplay running with admin rights?

Have you tried the fixes suggested by AtyresM. and kotton420m?

Can you please specify exactly which steps you've tried? Have you tested installing the game in a clean boot environment, with Uplay PC having administrator permissions?

I had 120gb spare, it's only asking for 60gb, GREAT! then half way through the install i get a message saying i have no more disk space.

For me, the problem was caused by having my hard drive set to be compressed. Once i unchecked this in the drive's properties (and waiting about 15 mins for the uncompression to Finnish) i was able to install the game without issue.
Thanks for sharing what worked to resolve this issue for you, DannyDice66, and welcome to the Ubisoft Forums!

I had this terrible error and i tried everything the you said here. Finally i figured out, but seems that the development teams of rainbow six, doesn`t want to help. I had two hard drives with 300 GB free and continue saying that doesn't work. What i figured out? This game probably has files greater that 4GB witch is not compatible with MS DOS FAT32.
What you shoud do. Install the game in a formatted NTFS file system or other system that supports more than 4GB files.

I choosed one drive and formatted with NTFS. Installed and guess what. I Worked! No more "there is no space".

Regards.

Thanks for sharing and glad you managed to resolve this. Hopefully this helps others experiencing the same issue.

Regarding Siege still running in task manager this is an issue we are aware of and it's under active investigation at the moment.
