Before wasn't just Yak Track + a major update, it was the first Yak Track, Farming 120 + Ranch Out of Time, Herblore 120 AND DXP weekend all in quick succession. This is a little different and should not be anywhere near as overwhelming.

There's plenty of time to complete the Yak Track for one, and for parts of it you can progress it by playing the new skill, so the synergy should be better and the stress a lot lower.

If it still proves too overwhelming for some, I'm sure that will be taken into consideration for future Yak Tracks.

They look absolutely amazing but why on earth did they put more stuff in the Northern Ardy area? It already was one of the most cramped areas in the game. This game really has some issues with map scale.

It's not more, it's an existing temple with no use (but graphically updated), other than to enter a dungeon for a quest. It was chosen for the link to Armadyl (pretty much the only place on the ground linked to Armadyl that isn't 'modern'), but not to worry, as you only spend a short amount of time there before... :)

So, some of this is potentially spoilers for future quests, so take that in mind, however I shall do my best to answer.

Zaros and Seren were dreamed into existence by the malformed Mah, the elder god of Freneskae who was stillborn and incomplete. He dreams created life and her earliest dream was of Zaros, as a companion, child, or toy. He wanted to leave her, so she dreamed Seren into existence, who would keep Zaros close.

So the elder gods created everything. They formed the universe out of sacred clay and funnelled the flow of anima through the universe to their "perfect world" Gielinor. This flow of anima allowed life to spring up and some of that life became sapient and some of that sapient life ascended. Saradomin and Guthix are from this organic springing up of life.

Yak Track will have Archaeology-themed tasks from the second week of it being in-game, so you can enjoy the new skill without feeling the pressure of completing tasks that would take you away from it.

There are some players reporting that the game is not as running as smooth as it usually does This is most likely a result of the client downloading a huge amount of assets into the cache. (Something something preparation for Archaeology #HYPE)

Whenever you upgrade, you'll be able to get all the premium rewards for the tasks you've already completed (as well as any that you complete after).

This wasn't supposed to go live and as a result some functionality is still missing. We'll be disabling this asap (hotfix) and release it a later date when the feature is fully matured. Our apologies.

I have the same challenge even with relatively good eye sight, and agree with your points!

We just started looking UI scaling and vector fonts to help with this. One of our engineers showed me a demo of UI scaling the other day and the potential looks really great! Lots of things to figure out still, for example what are the best out of the box experience for certain screen sizes i.e. 4K screen vs 1440p, should we even take a look at 1080p defaults now? Also we need to figure out what the user controls look like, I see us potentially giving some slider control to players. And what what point do our UI's look low quality upscaled. will have to look at uprezzing assets potentially.

Also if we combine this capability with vector fonts, will it present us other issues on the UI front, i.e. would some of them need to be re-done all together??

Mod Hypnose is looking at this and would expect for him to start demoing this capability on a future live stream, stay tun...
