Summary of issue: Use of the word "Vuoto" for Void is not exactly correct.

Hey! I noticed in Italian, every instance of the word "Void" is translated with "Vuoto". In example "Void Mayonnaise" is translated "Maionese del Vuoto". This translation can be passed as correct but I'm pretty sure it does not translate the real meaning. I'm pretty sure that VOID in stardew valley is used to describe the void of space (Sidereal Void) while in italian it is used mainly to describe something EMPTY like a glass or a liquid tank. So in my opinion "Void should be translated as "Siderale" to keep the meaning correct. So as it follows:

Void Chicken = Gallina Siderale
Void Egg = Uovo Siderale
Void Essence = Essenza Siderale
Void Mayonnaise = Maionese Siderale

I cannot think of any other occurences out of my brain right now, please consider this change as it sounds really funny right now. The use of the term "Siderale" it also gives ...

Vuoto

Thanks for the feedback. My intention with the word "void" is not to convey "outer space" but more of an empty, dark "region". Specifically, it refers to a region of the spirit world that's occupied by "evil" entities.

Does that change your assessment of the word "vuoto"? or would you still change it to "siderale"

I've only looked through the intro and here are the issues I found so far, mostly involving the font/encoding/design used in the game.

Summary of Issue:

  1. The font for choosing Korean in the option was nicely stylized like the other choices (or maybe it appeared so due to distortion), but the font for 'New / Load / Co-Op' was very basic. It would've been nice if it used the same stylized font as in language selection.
  2. Before I continue, the font that is mostly used throughout the game looks like a classic 90s 8-bit system font that it actually feels nostalgic. XD I'm guessing that was the choice because of the pixel style nature. This itself wouldn't be an issue, but...
  3. The font size in general is too unnecessarily big/wide. I definitely recommend decreasing it by a couple points. You can see the difference between the English and Korean here...

Hi, thanks for your feedback. I just posted a new update in the beta branch with a new Korean font. Please let me know if you like it better!

Summary of the issue: In Evelyn's cutscene when she comes to our door. In one of the sentences she says "Güze bir yürüyüştü." There is just a minor typo. It should be "Güzel bir yürüyüştü." meaning "It was a nice walk". Because "güze" is not a word. (At least in Turkish :) )

got it, will fix in next patch (hopefully later today!)

Summary of the issue: Thanks for considering my advice Concernedape. But you wrote a wrong sentence and it doesnt make sense now. When a fishing tackle breaks it should say any of the below to make sense:

"Oltanın zokası kırıldı." "Olta zokası kırıldı." or simply "Zoka kırıldı."

Right now it says "Olta zoka kırıldı." It translates to "Rod tackle broken." yes. But in turkish we have subfixes. "nın" and "sı" shows relation of these two words and completes eachother.

okay, thanks for letting me know.

But the one intended is "coffee bean" and it translates to "Kahve Çekirdeği". So it should be either "5 çekirdek gerekir" or "5 kahve çekirdeği gerekir"

What was going on in the game when you encountered it: Tried to put one coffee bean into a keg.

Thanks

"kancalı" means "hooked", but more like "with hook" than "got hooked"

"oltada" means "on the rod", but in Turkish it sounds naturally closer to "got hooked"

Got it. Thanks!

Hi, this beta version is on Steam only, so it won't have any affect on the Switch at all. Yes, you can still play in English on the Switch!

Also, you should add Turkish characters (ğ, ç, ş, ı, ü, ö) to the in-game font. They appear in Arial.

Thanks for the reports. I did add those characters to the font, so I'll have to see why they aren't showing up. Also, could you tell me what the english translations for KANCALI and OTALDA are?
