How do you feel these types of encounters reward/challenge you vs. more singular and isolated events?

Glad to hear you're liking the weapons. What's the rest of the build you're running?

I do appreciate that you've let us know about your experiences with the ammo.

I find that I have no issue with my demolitionist ammo drop rate; however I have to admit I have not played with the other specializations!

A more detailed picture would definitely help everyone better parse out some of the given information...

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it. Thank you for the feedback! For me personally, the animals add so much even as such a minor thing.

I noticed something similar for me today when loading up. Thanks for the feedback here, everyone, I'll be sure to make a note of this.

Hey everyone. This thread has sort of devolved from discussion on the content of the video into just a flame war about the creator of the video and between players. So I will be closing the thread down. Further discussion on the PvP aspects of The Division 2 are highly encouraged, but please remember to be respectful to each other and stay on topic. Thank you.

Welcome to the forums, ComandoJoker! How might the weapon rise to a better spot without necessarily just cranking up some numbers?

Update: Servers will go down in 15 minutes. We updated the patch notes to reflect one more change that is coming with today's maintenance, highlighted in bold below.

Greetings Agents,

The servers will shut down for a scheduled maintenance Thursday, April 11th at 09:30 AM CEST / 03:30 AM EDT / 00:30 AM PDT. Estimated downtime is approximately 3 hours.

During the maintenance, we will deploy the following fixes.

  • Fixed not being able to fast travel to the Castle settlement.
  • Fixed several cases of abnormal Bounty boss skill-use behaviour.
  • Fixed an issue causing the Nemesis crafting materials to be unobtainable.
  • Fixed Delta-03 error occurring at the end of Conflict matches.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause the pathfinding line to behave abnormally when in close proximity to your destination.
  • Fixed the donating sound playing repeatedly after having donated and abando...

A nice mix of feedback and advice in this thread so far. I know the Roosevelt Island mission can be a real endurance test, especially towards the end. It's one where good or bad positioning and movement can determine the flow of the fight at any moment.

My best advice is - and definitely when playing with others - to make sure that your builds, playstyles, and tactics mesh well. A player who is built for CQC and pushing forward does not have good synergy with a a squad built for long range poking and picking off. All that leaves you with is a dead ally and enemies prepped for four of you. The mission is definitely hard, it is supposed to stand as a barrier for even harder content in the subsequent world tier. But it is definitely doable.

Hope this helps.

Being able to just tap and get a heal was amazing. Now I have to double tap which a lot of the time leaves me with the chem launcher equipped which in a life or death situation against a charging NPC or Player leaves me dead.

Thanks
A speedy double tap will drop a charge at your feet. I know I've gotten myself into trouble with a triple tap or a hesitant double. Gotta be confident in your double tap, and you'll get consistent results.

Getting one-shotted never feels good, for sure. It generally is a sign that your gear isn't quite where it should be for the content though, unless you're talking about some purple or yellow snipers. Those types of enemies are incredibly dangerous and should be approached with caution.

It's only an anecdote but I was able to save a flanked ally just earlier today on WT4 Challenging mission (Daily for Grand Washington Hotel) with three shots and a whack to a melee rusher. But I'll admit keeping a fair distance is more my modus operandi.

Another thing to consider is the shotgun's place in PvP. How might these bonuses impact shotgun viability across game modes?

Yea the weapon mod conversation has been a wild pendulum back and forth... still interesting to see everyone's thoughts on it. How do you all mod out your weapons these days?
I do everything I can do cap out on Stability, even going overboard sometimes depending on the weapon class.
