This happens to me every now and again too. DX12 Max settings. I find if I Alt-Enter a couple of times when I start the game I don't get any crashes. Not sure why this works, but it does for me. Alt-Enter btw switches between windowed and full screen mode.

None of these worked for me. Only thing that works: alt+enter twice to jump between windowed and fullscreen mode on game startup. Weirdly so, that does the trick for me.

Definitely sounds like there's a Backfire involved. :P
If reinstalling the game didn't remove the trial from your account, I would recommend reaching out to Sony to remove the trial from your PSN account, so only the full game remains.

If the DLC is a different region than the base game, the game may not recognize the content. If you're having issues with your region, I recommend reaching out to Sony, as they will be able to point you in the right direction.
