Correct, the various Hunters need to be killed in specific ways by following their clues and solving their puzzles in order to drop the keys. Or they can be killed any such way and drop a mask. Once you kill a Hunter in your game, you will have to join someone else and help them kill the Hunter to have another shot at the key. So it's best to be sure of the puzzle before eliminating the Hunter.

Measure twice; cut once and all that.

I personally think it might be more telling for the point you're trying to make to share the best piece of gear you've been able to get. The floor seems to be the same for everyone, but what's the best your RNG has granted you?

It's just RNG being RNG and confirmation bias being confirmation bias. I hope your luck stays on the up and up, though.

I've personally always seen the Specialization weapons as a form of a recharging ability in a mission. Meant more to use when you can or store up until the end to use it all at once. But I appreciate the feedback regardless of my own take on it.

When do you find yourself using the weapons though? Or - rather - when would you if you had the appropriate ammo for them?

How often are you finding the Raid bosses and final reward are giving you gear that you end up using? When/where are you noticing the best loot has been dropping for you?

I appreciate the feedback. Though it's always uniquely saddening, it is insightful to see the various reasons why people might step away from the game. For the OP, what's a type of build you've really tried to make work, despite it all?

I've seen other players talking about the drones, but not any stuttering or pausing. Does this persist even after restarting the game?

Could you please elaborate on the details of what happened? What were you crafting, how full was your inventory, what World Tier are you and your crafting bench in?

Real quick, regardless of whether or not the player is using an aimbot, attempting to call out players on the forums is against forum rules... so please don't do it. If you are suspicious of a player potentially cheating, you can report them via Ubisoft Support. This is not the place for hackusations.

As others in this thread have mentioned, the Tidal Basin final boss has an invincibility window where she cannot be hurt. You have to be mindful of that window when attacking her. Best of luck!

Please continue to report spam that you see and/or private message myself or another mod directly. Keep in mind we may not always be awake/available/always tuned in to this subforum.

As a reminder, the special ammo has a chance to drop from certain types of kills depending on the Specialization. It is not guaranteed even when performing that type of kill.

That said, I can understand the frustration over the randomness of getting said ammunition... particularly for Survivalist.
