Hey everyone,
A quick but welcomed update: the issue is now resolved, so feel free to jump into the PTS. Thanks for your patience on this!
It wasnt massive who fixed the division 1, they tried multiple times and kept failing. The ubisoft team in the uk give us the update that made the game enjoyable, maybe its time to pass it over again
What? Haha
Edit. I should add since it's rude to just laugh. Massive did survival as one of the dlcs. 1.4 was done at massive. And the incursion dragons nest. All the studios work very closely together though and div 1 became what it is because every studio worked hard to get it there.
Read moreThis isn't addressing it...this is a straight up idiotic nerf instead of fixing the problem. This doesn't even specifically state that it's just low level Generic mods. So does this mean the purple gs 480+ Generic mods with 4-5% weapon dmg I have will no longer go in High End/Gear Set pieces either?
The only way to get a little extra damage out of the pathetically designed gear sets was to use Generic System mods. So good job making them even worse. So I can no longer get 12% (3x 4%) extra Explosive dmg in Negotiators Dilemma which already puts out a pathetic amount of personal DPS and requires other Explosive builds in the group to make it even worth using. Just F'n wow.
Simple solution, bump existing low lvl Generic Protocol mods up to gs 490 and make them high end (so as not to tell everyone that farmed these mods they just wasted a shit ton of their time) and then have low lvl Generic mods drop as 0.5-2% weapon dmg, scaling up in level.
EDIT: ...
I'd highly recommend that you submit your feedback on the Official PTS forum.

No sound fixes listed / planned?
What sound issues in particular are you experiencing? Lingering sound issues may be related to specific hardware/software combos that we haven't been able to test yet.
If you could provide the information below, we can investigate it further.
Headset/Speaker:
USB, 2.5mm or 3.5mm?
Installed drivers / Driver version
Installed manufacturer software
Any other sound related software installed on your PC?
Thanks! / Johan
err huh...?
Fixed an issue where players could stare into the void.
Hopefully this will also apply to me, while at work.

A specialization that revolves around firing guns? I donโt know how Massive thinks this stuff up.
Pew pew.
Year 1 Pass owners will automatically unlock the new Specialization and also have the opportunity to take on these challenges to earn unique cosmetic rewards.
Just double-checking. These cosmetic rewards are only available to Y1 Pass owners? Non-Y1 Pass owners won't get these cosmetics when we complete the challenges?
Correct. While the Specialization itself is available to unlock for all players, the associated cosmetics are exclusive to Year 1 Pass owners.
Quick Update:
We're experiencing issues with the PTS right now and while you are able to download the PTS build, you will not be able to currently login. We will update you on progress.
We are working on some final details right now, it should become available soon.
I'll update this post as soon as it's live.

Hey! The dev team linked the thread to me and they are aware of this. A fix for it is not yet ready and will probably not make it into TU4 but we definitely want to fix it!

24 hrs later, no acknowledgement or confirmation at least?
Mr. Gansler, it takes 5 minutes max to reproduce this for a single player. Please don't spend days on the wording now just to make the bug sound less drastic and save face for Massive. Thank you.
Hey. Just in case the wording of my first post didn't make it clear: The development team is looking into what is causing this so they can fix it. We are aware of it and I didn't want to imply that we don't believe this is an issue. Apologies if that came across that way.
In terms of when this will be fixed, I can't give an update as finding the underlying cause and exactly understanding what is happening takes some time.
