We're still slated for returning Operations in 2022~

It's only around 20k Base XP to unlock the Tier 10 Subs through the combat mission. That's around 10-20 games which can be done in a few hours.

Might need to update your graphics card drivers. That sounds like a weird interaction is happening.

It's not about a deep statistical analysis so much as it is a question of how it could be done.

There could be an "Opt-In" to Death-chat available as a setting. It could be a hard and fast "Dead can't talk to living". It comes down to what works best.

After an approach is determined, then there's trying to actually schedule the coding work, which is never easy to find because we're working on so much stuff. We are often booked up for months/years.

I try to get out information. Hopefully they help!

We do care about this, actually. The larger question is how much of after-dead chat is beneficial as compared to not. This is a team game, so communication can be very important (if it's actually useful, anyway).

It helps to learn about the "attack logic" of the homing mechanic. Homing torps can be juked, especially in larger ships like Battleships.

I made a video months ago to describe the process. Let me know if it's helpful.

Always nice to prove that crap wrong.

Team games can rough sometimes :\

If someone really is going overboard, don't be afraid to contact Customer Support. Your Ticket can help save another person from having to deal with crap nobody should have deal with.

Every example helps a lot. Any reproductions are important in finding and fixing bugs.

If someone harassed you in game or in port, please send in a Customer Support Ticket with the Replay or screenshots of what was said.

Congrats on a solid game, though! 1,500 Base XP on a loss is tasty.

Congratulations on an epic finish!

I have a video that explains that.

If DCP comes off cooldown and there is any active Fire/Flood/Module Incap/Ping condition, then it will automatically activate.

-

Automated DCP is nice in some ways, and a hinderance in others. Not being able to control when you use your DCP is actually a weakness for a Carrier, though the long duration typically does a lot to cover that weakness.

I'm fairly sure there is no more "Torp-Citadel". That function was removed from Homing Torpedoes months ago. Dumbfire Torpedoes have no ping interaction at all (except maybe the ability to rise upward if fired from under the water?)

Being scared of a flood is the same as being scared of a fire. They both do the same damage and last the same duration. The one difference is that floods are much more rare and do reduce engine power by something like 30% during the duration of the flood.

-

Our game is about decision-making and your timing/use of DCP is part of that decision process. DCP use is primarily done to reduce damage and how you use it will dictate how much damage it prevents you from taking in a given match.

Mostly tied in to how much health a ship has. I'm unsure if armor scheme and torpedo protection is factored in.

The "Ratings" in port are very basic in order to give an idea to a player at a glance.

None that I'm aware of.

Damage Con is mainly used to reduce damage.

Putting out Fires or Floods reduces damage.

Repairing Rubber or Engine Breaks can help to move and reduce damage.

Clearing a Ping should ideally only be used when it'll reduce damage.

There are players which feel clearing a ping should be done immediately, which is not correct. Much like saving DCP for when you have 2 or more Fires active (to make good use of it), you should look to save your DCP until the incoming torps are spotting. Make the decision at that point to see if clearing a ping matters or not. If yes, then use it. If not, than don't use it.

Being Pinged is similar to having "Priority Target" show someone is aiming at you. People will aim at you all game long and DCP cannot change that.

In terms of a 1v1? I'm not aware of any such compilation of information. Plus, there are so many different ships in the game that it's even hard to generalize to an answer, really.

1v1s happen, but outside of specifically 1v1 brawls there are almost always some form of effect from a teammate. Randoms being 12v12 makes for a much larger situation because of all the variables.

I does seem that the system has an expectation of doing at least some ship-based damage. I've seen this also reported as happening to some Co-Op players in CV that end the match with no damage.

As to turning pink, it's not a concern in an account level sense since it's more of a notification to the player that they went AFK or had a strange enough match to trip our system.

As to the loss of rewards, I'm not exactly sure what to say to that. Perhaps the OP could contact Customer Support to see if there's an amount they could be credited? I don't have detailed information on what that would look like, though I do have to believe that situation is rare enough to be fairly fringe-case, at least.

Carrier DCP is automatic and not in the hands of the player. It will automatically activate under any fire/flood/ping/module break condition. The hull does not have to be spotted for that to happen.

No, only the action of being Detected. When a CV hull is lists as detected, the CAP activates (if it's not already activated). CAP lasts 10 minutes, so a brief detection from up to 10 minutes prior can have them deployed still.
