Thank you for the detailed write-up @AdmiralThunder
Ahskance and I will be sure to include this in the post-release feedback on the UI

Let's stay civil here, folks.

It's completely understandable that this new system is frustrating if only by the fact that it requires new attention to be paid to re-learn it. However, the new system is remarkably simple and will require far less time to understand it and master it than the system we left behind.

Well... I don't know what to tell you about not keeping up with the news.

We made huge efforts to offer as close to 100% transparency on this that we humanly could. Obviously, we cannot reach everyone .

With regards to the game not feeling like it did in 2015 - honestly that's good. Warships is a constantly evolving game. Sometimes people will not like the stuff we do, but "tech-debt" is a thing and we are not going to restrict the future of the game to some of the systems set up in the infancy of the game.

I mean... you don't HAVE to believe me...

We've been up front about this from the beginning.

Yes! If you had the Infernal, Epoch, etc... linkable perma-camos in your inventory, then you are able to apply the camo to a ship in the exterior tab and link the "bonus package" on any ship that does not yet have one in thhe "Economic Bonuses" section.

We released multiple devblogs, multiple articles, simple calculators, and @Ahskance and myself even became subjects-matter experts on it just so we could answer questions on-stream for you all.

I get that the change is complicated, but the result is something far more simple.

We have plenty of articles and devblogs explaining every last detail, along with multiple forum threads where we've gone over these changes.
I'm sure folks will be scared and frustrated, but we'll be hanging out to answer questions

No - you can still choose to show the MMC flag as you do now, but the bonus will be applied to all ships, even if you are not actively using the flag.

This has been known for quite some time
Flags that offer economic bonuses; CC, Military, KOTS, etc... will give a permanent global bonus to the account.
It will be as if you are always running the eco flags that you have, but you'll be free to run whatever flags you choose.

In all fairness, at least175 of them were made. Many got solid historical reputations and make for fun additions to the game.

Agincourt is one of my favorite low-tier Premiums, for sure. I also enjoy Mikasa and K. Albert

But I take your point. The lack of modification choices at low tier also means that low-tier premiums inherently have fewer customizable options. Even tier 4's only get 2 slots for modifications. No radar, no hydro, no DFAA... all these things mean that low-tier ships tend to play more or less the same - which is a GOOD thing when the low tiers are intended to introduce you to and familiarize you with the mechanics of the game.

But we will add it to our feedback: MOAR LOW TIER PREMIUMS!!

Thank you very much for the elaboration.
Please do note that we are more than capable of separating submarine performance data based on general skill-level of the accounts. It's important for us to know how veteran players can utilize submarines as well as new players. I understand your frustration here, but do know that balancing a new class is difficult and requires a lot of facets.

Can I ask what kinds of stuff you find cringeworthy?
Not trying to trap you or anything - I'm genuinely curious

Yep! We'll have a lot of details on the PR event so you can decide early how you'd like to approach it.

I haven't heard of ships getting stuck that far away from islands.
There have been and continue to be instances where ships will get stuck NEAR islands due to terrain added / adjusted during the Submarine underwater rework, but those are found and fixed daily.
Any time you see this, send a ticket to CS

Not likely. Some people look fondly on that, but others saw it as a "win more" feature that didn't promote healthy back and forth gameplay.

Regarding AA -
We did a "joke" test to see how much damage a Sandy could put out against an FDR - which can happen, but is somewhat of a stacked match.
If you spec Sandy for AA, which you can absolutely do and still be a very competent surface combatant, you are arguably one of the single most dangerous cruiser AA platforms at tier 8. Cheshire and P.bag are up there too. I'm not going to have a long back and forth about people's feelings on AA in general, but the enhanced DFAA consumable stacked with skills and signals means the Sandy can pump out about 1500 damage per second in best circumstances with 7 flak native flak puffs. I take both AA skills at the cost of Survivability expert, but I generally feel skilled enough that I can make do without it.

Continuous damage:

Long Range (5.8km): 168 x (2.0 x 1.05 x 1.20 x 1.75) x 0.9 = 666.8 dps
Medium Range (3.5km): 91 x (2.0 x 1.05 x 1.20 x 1.75) x 0.9 = 351.2 dps

Fair enough - compared to Light Cruisers they are not that stealthy - but they are stealthier than a lot of actual battleships while carrying nearly battleship-caliber guns.
You still need to make use of speed and stealth to make full use of these ships, regardless.
