In the Third section it literally states that they won't buff Subs to increase popularity.

I surfaced my sub under a Vladivostok and did NO damage in the ram.

It has to be during the KOTS streams listed in that article.

The good news about Subs and Homing Torpedoes vs. CV's is that:
CV's tend to not move much and, if they do, they tend to go in a relatively straight line because of auto-pilot.

Firing your torpedoes at and then ping the CV. This will trigger the DCP.


The DCP lasts a long time on the CV so keep pinging it. Eventually your ping will stick.


Once the ping sticks, the torpedoes will go where the CV will be.


Even if the DCP comes back up and reps the ping, the torps will continue on towards where the CV is going.

The CV will have to make movements and adjustments to avoid your torpedoes, but it won't be a done deal

If you don't participate in the bidding for early access to the Schlieffen that is completely fine! It will become a tech tree T10 that anyone and everyone can get for free! This usually takes 2 patches from the opening of Early Access for the Tier 10 to become available.
Don't worry about things like KOTS - Schlieffen won't be allowed into King of the Sea as it is too new.

A poll was put out asking people how they felt about aspects of Submarine interaction. One question was if dropping depth charges on submarines was satisfying. They replied firmly "yes".

Remove your mods and try again before sending in a bug report as mods tend to be the culprit, YES I know we have made it automatic, I will state it as I am sure someone will find a work around.

DO NOT just move your old mods into the new mods folder, make sure they are updated!

Right. I copy you on that distinction.

So the Icon you mention isn't just for T10 - it's for any "Special Ship" that can have captains swapped around without requiring retraining.
Special ships don't have extra credit earnings the way that true premiums (with a gold icon) have.
I agree that the difference between "Premium" and "Special" is not suuuuper clear. I actually bought the Salem for Coal long ago thinking it could be my credit grinder and used all the credit signals / camos on it before realising that it didn't have advanced credit earnings. Womp Womp.
