Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear your disappointment with the Leviathan content. Bugs aren't fun for anyone, and obviously they aren't what we want our fans to experience so we do try to deal with them asap but it's not always a simple or straightforward process. As long as Sion and Nihilus are present in the battle, you won't be able to land any damage on Traya. You'd need to defeat Sion and Nihilus and afterwards reduce Traya's protection to be able to damage her health.

The restore purchases option doesn't undo a purchase. It's there to help push content through if the content got stuck/didn't deliver after making a purchase.

If you want to split up your EA accounts from his, connected accounts needs to be unlinked and that carries risks. His account could be impacted by the unlinking. I'll share some EA Help guides for more information on this and if you'd like to discuss those options further, get in touch with the support team directly. They'll examine the accounts and let you know what can be done and the impact it will have for all involved after getting both account holders permissions.
