Your dad should be able to unlink the Steam account on his end via the following link:

https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/connectaccounts/index

That way you won't need to reach out to our live support at all. I will say that there are certain risks associated with unlinking accounts that you play on (especially for Apex), so I recommend this article, just to make sure you're aware of the risks:

Hey @MEDSTEPS,

Unfortunately an EA account can only ever be linked to one of a specific type of platform account in its lifetime. As such, since you already had a Steam linked, it won't be possible to link your other Steam account to this EA account.

Unfortunately Apex does not currently support cross-progression, so there's no way to transfer your progress from one platform to another. If you want to keep playing on PC, I'm afraid you'll have to do so from a fresh account.

Hey @Jacobthebossie,

Apex Legends has never reacted well to unlinking and then linking to a different EA account, which is why it's specifically called out everywhere where unlinking is involved. If you unlink it from its current account and link it back to its original EA account there's a good chance that you'll fix your game and get your progress back, but it's not 100% guaranteed unfortunately.

Not only will your progress not carry over, unlinking the platform you play Apex on has historically caused issues within the game. We have an article here with some more information:

Unfortunately it isn't possible to transfer Apex progress from one account to another. If your son is going to use his own account going forward, I'm afraid he'll need to start from a fresh account.

If you've only received a ban in Apex, then all of your other games should still be fine. So long as your EA account itself isn't banned, you can still play your other titles.
