We've been seeing the reports of the issues playing are experiencing with the Star Forge server. We had to bring the server down, but it will be brought back up soon. Currently, the ETA for the server being down is approximately 30 minutes. I'll update this thread when I get more info.

Okay, it looks like what was communicated were objectives for the beginning of next week and onward. I'll work on updating the article to reflect the intended objectives. In short, what is being shown on the live servers now are indeed the objectives players should work to complete. Thanks for flagging this!

Hello everyone, 

We will be deploying Game Update 7.3.1b tomorrow, October 3rd. The following will be included in this patch:

• To improve the new player experience, all players can now sprint at Level 1
• Speeder piloting is now  working as intended on the K-NorCo B5C mount.
• Improved Mounting will allow mounting the K-NorCo B5C while moving as intended.
• Companions will now appear when dismounting the K-NorCo B5C Mount.

Adding the following to the known issues list for the Mousecapades Galactic Seasons objective. 

• Imperial characters using male body type 3 are getting stuck at the spawn location of the mouse droid. 
  • Workaround: The objective can be completed in the Rishi Cantina.

There isn't an update to share at this time outside what we have said in the past, however, I can provide a little more insight into what's happening behind the scenes right now. As you all know already, we're currently focusing on migrating the live servers over to the cloud. After today, we will have successfully accomplished this task. Our next steps are migrating more services and tools over in similar fashion. Being able to migrate everything over is vital to the health of the game which translates to better a player experience. All that to say that we need to do all of this before we can look at opening up servers in new regions. So for right now, we do not have additi...

Clearing up a misconception here! This is a community run event, and it is one that is now entering its third year. The frames were done and built in the first year so the only lifting done on the team each following year is adding the winning shots to the event vendor. Essentially, that makes it so there's little impact on the design team and the heavier lifting is on the community team. So this is a fun project that community owns and the way the contest was built allows for others team to focus on things such as creating new content, polishing current content, and/or reviewing and fix bugs. Wanted to chime in here and say that in regards to 7.4 proper, we're preparing for the update livestream and will be making a formal date announcement in the coming weeks. We'll be covering a lot of info, for sure. I'll be making a separate thread for the date announce, and will post updates there per usual. So stay tuned!
