We check the Bug Report section of the forum, our social media replies and our support tickets every day, it may take some time for us to respond but I’ve checked the bug report section of the forum just now and it looks like most of the threads which weren’t posted less than 24 hours ago all have a response, either in the thread title or in a comment in the thread.

I suspect you’re talking about the missing campaign stars or guild wars scoring issue threads?
If so I’ve just posted an update to the Campaign star issue and as stated previously we will be posting about the Guild Wars scoring issue before next week.

If it’s a different bug report you’re referring to, please link me to the thread and I’ll ensure one of the team look at it tomorrow (assuming it was an old report we missed), the newer reports will be responded to according to our normal schedule.

We’ve just deployed a fix for this as well as a couple of other fixes (missing Campaign Stars and Kingdom Power on Factions).

The team investigated and found this issue with the daily reset to be unrelated to the Guild Wars defence team bonus point issue, which we are still looking into and will have an official news post about before the end of the week.

Last week there was a problem with a missing Bronze Campaign Task.

We have just deployed some fixes to the game including adding +3 Campaign Stars to everyone’s accounts to correct this. The stars will be added next time you go through the daily login.

Sorry it took longer than we’d all hoped to do this, it wasn’t previously a simple task to add Stars to accounts so we also had to address this before we could send everyone the 3 Stars.

We are also working on the cause of the issue so this doesn’t happen in future.

What is the very last thing that happens in the game before you experience this issue?

We don’t actually support Mac OS sorry!

I’m not familiar with tech support for Macs, but generally for this sort of issue on PC we would suggest turning the graphics settings to low and checking RAM and CPU usage while the game is running to see if the hardware is handling the game ok or what is causing the issue exactly.

If you receive any error messages you can also let us know as that will help pinpoint the problem (especially if it’s an in game error message rather than a Mac OS error)

The Kingdom Pass is a new event that runs when we release a new Kingdom.

• A Kingdom Pass will run for 5 weeks starting when a new Kingdom releases. Over the 5 weeks, the new Kingdom will have several events that will unlock new content for it such as a New Hero Class, a Faction and a Bounty Troop.
• While the Kingdom Pass is running, players will encounter a Legendary troop from the new Kingdom as a battlecrasher in PvP and Explore. Defeating it will give a Kingdom Crown.
• Kingdom Crowns are used to progress through levels of the Kingdom Pass. Each level needs 5 Kingdom Crowns.
• Each level of the Kingdom Pass gives a free reward. Players can...

Thanks, I’m not really expecting a connection issue to be the problem. Affected players are from all over the world and the times of the issues aren’t centered around the busy time, like daily reset. I’m also not aware of any game server issues for GoW last week or any other major outages at other companies/servers.

But at this point it’s one of the last things I could think to ask about.
We checked things like how active, old, new the accounts are, which devices they’re playing on, their level, Guild, Guild Wars brackets, Guild War attack and defense teams, Hero Class, Home Kingdom (in case it was something to do with Nexus but nope!). This is just a small example of the checks we’re doing when looking for patterns on the CX team side while the devs check the code side.

But if anyone thinks of anything regarding any technical performance issues let me know.

We will keep checking the code and data on our side.

This issue has been difficult to investigate as it hasn’t affected everyone equally and appears random in nature. We will have more to share once we’ve had a chance to learn more about this issue.

I plan to follow up with the team about this and the other Guild War issue tomorrow and will post more information here and in the known issues articles in the help center once I know more.

To people offering to give us any more information we need, just knowing if anyone with the bonus point issue had any technical issues, including error messages or connection issues (whether on your device or from our game servers or even your internet service provider) in addition to this bonus points missing issue, that would be helpful to know. So far we haven’t seen any reports along side the missing scores mentioning any strange tech issues but it doesn’t hurt for me to ask.

Just an update, we’re currently still investigating why this happened to some players and not all.
If at all possible we want to correct the issue before weekly reset.
Looking at solving it is our priority right now.

Plan B will be what to do if it can’t be solved in time for weekly reset, obviously fixing it before then is 100% our priority as that’s the best way to deal with the issue so we’re not even discussing compensation yet as we don’t want that discussion to take away from actually sorting this out.

Generally speaking:
Plan A = fixing before weekly reset
Plan B = fixing after weekly reset so the scores/rankings are correct before the next Guild Wars
Plan C = compensation and any possible other measures.

New Bounty Troop: Ogress

The Ogress from Broken Spire, is this weekend’s Bounty Captain.

The Ogress will be available in the Bounty Shop, and will appear in Gold, Glory and Guild chests in 3-4 weeks’ time.

New Hero Class: Elementalist

A new Hero Class has been released, the Elementalist. Complete Shayle’s Elementalist Training quest in Nexus to unlock this Hero Class.

Also to celebrate the release of this new class, we will be running a Hero Class event over the weekend. Particpate in this event to help earn Champion XP for the Elementalist.

I have no further information about it, when I do I will post about it.
I can speak and investigate other issues at the same time, but I can’t give further information when I don’t have any yet.

I can’t fix bugs, I’m not a programmer.

What I can do is ban the cheating players so they don’t do more damage.

There was a cheating player in the same Guild Wars bracket as your Guild, I’ve banned the player and made a note so that the Dev team can fix this on Monday.

I will ban the cheating player and make a record of it so the Devs can correct the score on Monday.

Play Guild Wars as you would normally, don’t hold off on it.

I know how important this is and I know how disappointed and angry you must all be.

I will talk about this with the team again first thing on Monday morning and will hopefully have more information for you then.

Hey I have been investigating this issue this morning, and just finished up so came here to reply, just needed 10 minutes more to get here.

The development team is investigating this issue now, we have been looking into Guild Wars as a priority since yesterday.

I am about to make a known issue article which I will keep updated with any developments on the issue.

I just wanted to check here first to make sure the threads had been marked as investigating.
