Currently, we plan to leave it in there for at least 2 weeks, maybe 3.

This timeline was changed after I made my original post.

It will be removed out of the Soulforge during a weekly reset, so if you’re looking to craft it, just make sure to check the recipe as you normally would before hand.

I have never laughed about anyone dying of covid, and any light comment I made about Covid was at the very beginning of the pandemic, possibly before it was even labelled a pandemic. I have apologised to you in the past that my comment caused hurt/offence.

From this Monday’s weekly reset (ROUGHLY 7am GMT Monday 18th of October), a special recipe for crafting Arachnaean Weaver will be in the Soulforge. The recipe will cost half as much as the usual recipe for Arachnaean Weaver.

This recipe will be removed from the Soulforge on Monday 25th of October at ROUGHLY 7am GMT (weekly reset).

The time is ROUGHLY 7am GMT because this is a recipe that needs to be manually added and removed from the Soulforge.

I understand this isn’t one of the exact outcomes that was hoped for by everyone, but this was the best compromise we could come up with given this was working as intended.

Just for clarity, this is going to be our final response to this issue as this is all the information we have about it and what is being done about it. We will of course continue collecting your feedback though.

The reason the new Mythic Troop is exclusive in Event Chests when its Kingdom is the weekly Event Kingdom is because we made it this way roughly 4 years ago based on feedback from the community.

It is very rare that the weekly event Kingdom during the new Mythic exclusivity period is the Kingdom the new Mythic belongs to. We apologise we didn’t add Event Chests to the news post in game in this special case.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to rollback all the Keys spent as it’s not a simple solution and it could cause more problems than that specific solution would be worth.

We really do understand the frustration around this, and we’re sorry the schedule lined up like this. In future we will be looking at doing 2 things:

  • Avoiding having the new Mythic Troop’s Kingdom be the weekly event Kingdom during the new Mythic’s exclusivity period

  • On any occasion where we can’t avoid the above, editing the News post temporarily to includ...

The bug with the Potion of Power has been fixed.
The team stayed back until 11pm last night to get it fixed as soon as possible.
Compensation will be sent to the affected players.
There is no need to contact Support about this as we have a list of all the affected players :slight_smile:

Ok I’ve provided more information to the Dev team, I’ve also done some further testing and I’m getting issues on the pre-battle screen only still. I’ll reply again once the Dev team have had more time to investigate.

In our tests the Potion was applying correctly so it may only affect some accounts.

Hey folks!

The team are currently looking into the Campaign Star issue and also the details of what’s gone on with the Potion of Power.

The Potion of Power is applying inside battles correctly but it looks like there was a change to it displaying on the pre-battle screen so we’re looking at that.

We’ll let you know once we have more information!

Hi Adventurers,

There has been some questions whether the Archproxy Yvendra’s mythic exclusivity applied to event chests as well. The answer is yes, mythic exclusive applies to Event chests when the new Mythic is from the weekly event Kingdom.

We try to keep new mythic releases away from events in their home kingdoms during this period. Unfortunately the timing of her release and this week’s event, meant it wasn’t possible.

When Archproxy Yvendra’s mythic exclusivity ends, the Arachnaean Weaver will become available as a potential mythic troop in Event chests.

I AM SO VERY HAPPY TO LET YOU ALL KNOW THIS IS FIXED IN THE NEXT GAME UPDATE VERSION 5.7

Thank you all so much for providing all the information you could about the issue, it was instrumental in us finding the cause of the issue and fixing it as this issue wasn’t affecting every single player and we were finding it impossible to replicate the issue in house so the information you provided was critical to fixing the problem.

Hey folks, merged the 2 threads as they were quiter similar.

We do not tolerate cheating in Gems of War, and have spent an extensive amount of time and resources to ensure we have thorough anti-cheat tools in the game. We continue to improve these tools regularly.

It’s worth noting that an account can’t be banned for cheating until AFTER they cheat - so it does sometimes happen that you will see a cheater in the number 1 spot on the leaderboard before they are banned and subsequently have all their live event progress removed (and are therefore put at the bottom of the leaderboard).

In addition to using cheat detection tools, our CX team regularly manually checks the leaderboards and goes through player reports to do our best to catch anyone cheating who isn’t picked up by the anti-cheat tools (rare these days as the tools are so thorough).

Hi folks,

The reason Gman mentioned we have a “hopeful” fix for the next update version 5.7 is that we’re still awaiting the official response from QA that the fix is verified. We believe the issue is fixed in the next update but we don’t announce it absolutely is until we get that final verification.

The reason the fix cannot be released sooner is because it requires a client update - that means that we need to submit new game builds to all the platforms the game is on and then await those platforms approval - which we have no control over from that point.

When we can fix things on the server, we do so as that means we can get the fix out quickly, but this one requires a change in the game code so it has to go through the entire submission and approval process.

We are very sorry for the wait, we are doing everything we can and we know how frustrating this bug is. I’m also sorry for the delayed responses in this thread.
