Hey, well this is a Guild Wars bug (or 3) I’ve never seen before!
It looks as though an issue has snuck in when you’re in a very low guild wars bracket without enough Guilds to fill out your bracket (which due to the way the game is coded should never happen anyway).
I’ve informed the team, sorry about that! It shouldn’t have any real bearing on your ranking and bracket placement for the next Guild Wars.

@Lily there could be any number of reasons factoring into this.
Just because 20K trophies were earnt in a week doesn’t mean they were all gotten through cheating for example. I cannot discuss any individual cases, and we don’t detail cheating at all as we don’t want anyone trying to game the system more than they already are by cheating at all.

New Bounty Troop: Sister of Nightmares
The Sister of Nightmares from Darkstone, is this weekend’s Bounty Captain.
The Sister of Nightmares will be available in the Bounty Shop, and will appear in Gold, Glory and Guild chests in 3-4 weeks’ time.

The Gems of War and PQ3 development teams are completely separate teams.
Gems of War has its own development team who do not work on PQ3 at all.
It is exciting to release a new game but Gems of War is still our baby.
When it comes to RNG we tend to start conservatively.
The community has often surprised us with how hardcore they go at new features and have in the past absolutely shot past our expectations and we’ve had to nerf things to rebalance things in a healthy way. NO ONE likes nerfs, not you, not me, not the designers making those calls. We can all agree it’s a bad time for everyone involved.
If something gets released and it has undershot the mark, it’s better to have to buff it rather than overshoot it and then nerf it.
I’m not saying that’s the case here with the Hoard Mimic drop rates, the data will show the team what they need to know regarding that. I’m just trying to give some insight into some of the decision making.

There will be a week long Vault event starting from weekly reset on Monday 7am GMT. To make room for this event Guild Wars has been rescheduled to start in the week of March 28.

I think the general law in life is to never say never about anything.
Since we implemented all those factors though, we haven’t had to unban anyone due to a mistake:
We have auto hack detection in addition to every ban going past at least 2 staff members, as well as strict banning guidelines AND if there is any doubt as to whether someone is cheating or not - we don’t ban
I have deleted a post where a support ticket was shared showing a player’s private details.
As per community guidelines, do not share tickets from support agents here please.
I encourage you to contact support directly and privately if you wish to discuss a ban, but more importantly, if the BANNED player has questions I encourage them to contact support directly to have their questions answered and then if you have questions, you can ask that player directly and they can share what they want about the situation.
IP2 staff will never discuss the contents of a ticket with another user because we value all our players’ privacy highly.
I will leave this topic open as long as no more private conversations or private details are shared here. If they are shared again I will have to lock this post as sharing private information is very serious.
