Most of the changes here were for the dailies. We moved basically ALL of the dailies to be "any mode." The biggest change here that we made was to change all of the weapon damage challenges to be any mode. 80% of the dailies are now "any mode" (39 of the 50 dailies) with the remaining 11 being split roughly 50/50 between Arenas (6) and BR (5).

We also made a lot more of the weeklies be any mode, but this varies quite a bit by week. You MIGHT have gotten a week that has more mode-specific challenges - some weeks are still more mode-specific heavy - but across the whole BP, weeklies are split as followings across the entire season:
- 55 any-mode
- 56 BR
- 29 arenas

Remember there's some RNG in what you see on any given day - and especially in terms of what you see for the one week of weeklies. But I promise that we for sure heard the feedback and tried to make the battlepass less mode specific, and we're working on even more functionality in terms of...

Found the bug. Simple fix. Will take a while to get it out as it's a client fix, but the data will correct automatically as soon as we do. The stats are all accruing properly in the background. It's just a *visual* bug. Sorry about that. And thank you for flagging.

There were no changes to AA. Reports of changes were the result of the streamers playing on non-Productions servers with notably different performance characteristics. Most of the speculative buffs, nerfs, etc were the result of either the servers being non-Production, bugs in the build on client/server (it was also not a finalized build that players were on), or there being a couple (very few) features that had *test* changes made in the server configuration as part of ongoing balance tests.

This is a Control-specific feature. Only you see enemies highlighted, and only when they are in your field of view. There's a bit of lag if they go behind a wall just because of the time to process line of sight and then turn VFX off. But this is actually pretty essential with 9v9 where you have 8 other teammates for identifying friendlies & enemies.

Thank you for reporting. We're already looking into both issues - the turbo leveling of EVO shields & the super reduced cooldown. This is a bit outside of my area of specific area, but u/rspn_exgeniar & I are working on getting this to legends & gameplay team. Thanks to the folks who tagged us for vis.

Yes. Once the fix goes out, you will see your proper S11 wins with Pathfinder count. The stat is tracking properly in the background. Any wins you get now will be reflected.

Yup. Found and fixed internally. Not sure when we will get this fix out but hopefully quite soon. But I can confirm is is only cosmetic and will correct. Your displayed BP is the correct one. And the badge will automatically update to match it.

Figured it out. Not sure of a timeline on a fix. But don't worry, the real level you see in game is correct, and the badge will update as soon as we can get a fix out for it.

I "successfully" redeemed the last 7 in-game after purchasing S11 BP. It accepted the code and showed the reward as a BP level (though the medal was black, not gold like last season). But it didn't level up the pass.

  1. Confirmed it was indeed an accidental change and that Console AA was updated to match PC AA. Many thanks to everyone on this sub who raised the flag here. We absolutely would not have caught this so quickly without your help.

On the other hand, are you the guy I can complain about the UI overall?! Would love to see a total revamp! From the way we see skins/cosmetics to the overall navigating thru the game menus before entering a match. The game is really different and bigger of what it was at launch.

And since you mentioned stats, I WOULD LOVE to know how many wins I have per map. I have a feeling KC is my best but that's just a gut feeling. Maybe you guys could insert the amount of matches played/won on each map at the stats screen?

  1. Yes you can complain to me about UI. But I'd bet most of what you will say is probably on the list. UI reworks are huge projects, because you often can't do just part of it because the whole system has to fit together. But when we can, we are looking at small changes. The badge reorganization into categories was my first "big" shipped feature.
  2. We don't track stats per map currently, so I couldn't tell you. That one is tough, because while I agree it might be cool, it can also be self-reinforcing, where you decide you don't like a certain map because you win less there so you play worse and win less. But overall, more "stuff" with stats is definitely on the list. Hopefully you've enjoyed some of the newer challenges the past few seasons (like # of ring closings survived or red weapon kills. Or the S11 daily weapon damage challenges being cross-mode); that's all powered by stats

Not at all. Though this made my day. I'm a technical designer who works mostly in non-gameplay systems design. Lots of UIUX and other meta-game systems (stats is my favorite area). I actually only came on because I fixed the ranked rewards bug and wanted to let people know. I'm a sporadic communicator, but yesterday's launch was smooth enough that I spent most of the day "celebrating" by answering questions here, which I very much enjoy when I have the chance. Ryan cannot be replaced, but we have an awesome comms team.

As a general rule, Reddit has always been super kind to me so I try to return the favor. Especially around launches when y'all often find bugs we missed. So it's the best time to get these things tracked. Always feels a bit like drinking from a firehose in here, so I apologize to the people I missed or the questions I could not answer.
