We didn’t expect this to be a one-off solution to fix all of the problems with queues, but it does provide an option for some folks and help prevent more new players from joining EU Central. We’re taking multiple steps where we can, and this was just one of them

Unfortunately this issue is tied to some of the issues we’re seeing with the overall stability of EU Central right now and the influx of players. While improving that situation over time will help mitigate, the team is also looking into a wider fix to address this.

I do not have too much more of an update to share, but still wanted to keep folks in the loop where I can.

In checking in with the teams, this server has remained locked to avoid a large queue situation from occurring due to the number of player accounts/characters on it. While this may change at some point, unfortunately I do not have an ETA to give – but the team is aware of the feedback while they continue to work to balance server loads. I apologize for folks that want to join in and play, and understand this will not be a satisfying answer, but I will keep trying to provide updates when I can.

The new region for Europe is live now, which is an option for players who are willing to switch regions in order to avoid queues. Unfortunately, we are unable to add additional servers or capacity to the current EU Central region due to the game’s architecture, as this would lead to massive issues with game stability. We are still working on mitigating where we can, but unfortunately this situation is complex and requires work from all teams that will take time.

The make-good for the folks on the Galatur server is for a subset of players that were affected by a one-off gamebreaking bug that has locked them out of being able to progress through the main story quest/progress at all on their characters. You can see more on that here: Galatur Account Issues

Because we are not able to resolve these bugs in a timely manner, we have decided to grant the affected players something that will hopefully make starting a new character a bit easier for them after waiting so long ...

Heroes of Arkesia,

After last week’s launch, we shared our plans to grant a Launch Gift and additional Founder’s Pack items so players can explore other servers, alongside compensation to players impacted by issues on the Galatur server. We wanted to gather all the information in one place, so that players can easily understand which grants apply to them. We are finding that some players that are seeing 10027 errors when trying to connect to the new Europe West region. If this occurs repeatedly, you will need to restart not your Steam client in order to resolve this.

We’ve gotten a lot of conflicting feedback about this, but I have a special place in my spot for the old prologues as well. I’m not sure if we’ll ever be able to bring them back, but I hear ya and am happy to share this

Right now maintenance times are rolling out pretty much as soon as possible on all fronts as we continue to work towards stability and operate in “launch mode.” I don’t expect this to continue on at peak times in the future

Hemos puesto en marcha el trabajo preliminar para abrir la nueva región de servidores en Europa, llamada Europa Oeste. Una vez que el mantenimiento haya sido completado, podréis ver esta pestaña de selección de región pero estos servidores no estarán disponibles de inmediato.
