I hear the ask, but unfortunately we will not be separating the class and Legion Raid releases since it is all tied to one big update build

The servers are back up and running now with the above issues resolved for the time being, and we’re aiming to have upgrades for the server ready to go with tonight’s maintenance to help mitigate these kinds of occurrences as we move ahead. Appreciate the active reports.
Appreciate the report – yesterday’s adjustments were to improve functionality from it’s very bad state but it definitely isn’t fully fixed up yet. We’ll continue to make changes to smooth things out.
Catching up this morning, details showed the server was having some issues and needed further adjustments to the Auction House to prevent further problems from occurring. I apologize that this information wasn’t available on the forums, we are investigating to see why that was missed.
Date will be confirmed for players next week! I can confirm the December update will arrive before the holidays.

You are all good, and like I said I totally misunderstood the message! Understanding the nuances of written word/text is fun, I know I’ve been taken out of context more than a few times myself based on that.
The issue I’ve run into in the past with always alerting folks of time off for staff is that it’s very easy for there to be an expectation that it then always needs to be done. So if someone ends up out of the office and they don’t mention it for whatever reason, like an emergency or anything else, that becomes an issue in and of itself.
That said, we’ll likely be taking some more time off in December and because that will be a broader break, that will probably be noted here.
The crazy thing about just having GMs on to ban bots is that the amount of bots there are is too high to be particularly effective. Which is obviously not great, but actions need to be taken to cut them off at the root in order to have a notable impact.
Thanks for all of the continued reports – it looks like there are a few lingering issues this morning, but most occurred last night before the servers came down. This isn’t a full fix for sure, and there are still adjustments to be made but glad to see there are still positive impacts overall. If you run into more bumps or issues today, please continue to update this thread!

If this is the case, apologies for misunderstanding the intent of that message. I absolutely have been told I shouldn’t be allowed to take time off and received threats for going on one vacation since I started working here, as well as had photos of myself on a Sunday afternoon posted of me in work spaces while being blasted for not being on the job, so I apologize if I’m a bit defensive over work life balance and personal time. Because of my experiences, it’s something I will always push back against, as for all of the craziness in online spaces, that’s a big boundary for me.
The bot waves have been pretty severe for the last couple of months. We have some upgrades to bot prevention systems being fleshed out right now that we hope to have ready for the December Update – when those get completed, we’ll share some details.
In the meantime, we know this has been super frustrating and ongoing. It’s challenging to provide any real updates until those systems are in place and working, but we’re actively working through getting them updated now and bots are still very top of mind.
Sorry, but I don’t agree. Time off is time off, and not working during time taken off work is not neglect. The staff of any company is always made up of humans working jobs. There will be times when individuals are not available, and to be blunt, although CMs interface directly with customers, having personal lives and time off is allowed and it is not a requirement to explain that or our personal calendars customers.
