Out of curiosity, how many pieces of <500 GS (~490) GS gear have you collected vs. how many at 500 GS?
What's the typical loot examine-sort-discard loop look like for you?

I'll be honest, I got hyped when I first read through what the Gunner can do. But that's just me. I'm a big fan of crowd control options.

What are the situations you find yourselves in that your Specialization choice really shines? When does it feel the most impactful and when does it feel like it might as well not be there?

So this 3.1 update can be considered more of a hefty maintenance rather than a full on patch. There were fixes made but no significant gameplay changes or tweaks. Larger content updates like the Title Updates (2, 3, soon 4,) carry more substantial things for the game.

I appreciate all the additional reports and details everyone. I'll be sure to make a note of this.

Can't stress enough though, if this [weird pausing] is happening to you, please continue to share.

I'm not sure I understand the initial question, but I believe there were some players who were unable to progress to World tier 5, which the patch addressed.

When you step up to World Tier 5 the maximum Gear Score increases to 500, meaning that the minimum, average, and maximum damage for weapons you find will also increase. I... have not heard of any specific talents being entirely locked behind a specific World Tier, however.

Does this answer your question?

Since this thread kind of became a flame war back and forth without any additional details or information about the Delta errors being shared... and the OP has left the thread... I'll be closing it.

Remember when talking about technical issues, the more info the better: Where crashes tend to happen, after how long in-game, during what activity, etc.
Also be sure to reach out to Ubisoft Support in order to see if we can help figure out a solution to the problem. Thank you.

Glad this all got sorted out. Happy hunting!

Not to be a stickler for details but anyone answering C and D really isn't going to be able to help answer your question... and B is an extreme answer to what is ultimately a subjective question...

That is incorrect. At some point you can have all of the apparel items and at that point you will only get duplicates. Because you have all of the items.

Well, you sort of took my suggestion for playing more in the Occupied Dark Zone... What changes brought about by Normalization make the standard DZ so much worse than the ODZ for you?

Hey guys, if possible, a video of this weirdness occurring would be super helpful. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for others talking about this.

The OP explicitly mentions that this is happening with non-event caches. Apparel Event Caches do not have duplicates.

Superior and regular Apparel Caches do, however, have the chance for duplicates. As some in this thread have suggested, if you find yourself getting too many duplicates for comfort from one type of cache, I recommend swapping to the other. It is also possible you a... Read more

Cool. So I'll be locking this thread for the very obvious reason that this is a discussion about how to perform a game exploit.

Additionally, there have been numerous statements from Community Managers stating that th... Read more

Thank you for the detail. This is good to know.

Correct, the various Hunters need to be killed in specific ways by following their clues and solving their puzzles in order to drop the keys. Or they can be killed any such way and drop a mask. Once you kill a Hunter in your game, you will have to join someone else and help them kill the Hunter to have another shot at the key. So it's best to be sure of the puzzle before eliminating the Hunter.

Measure twice; cut once and all that.

I personally think it might be more telling for the point you're trying to make to share the best piece of gear you've been able to get. The floor seems to be the same for everyone, but what's the best your RNG has granted you?

It's just RNG being RNG and confirmation bias being confirmation bias. I hope your luck stays on the up and up, though.

I've personally always seen the Specialization weapons as a form of a recharging ability in a mission. Meant more to use when you can or store up until the end to use it all at once. But I appreciate the feedback regardless of my own take on it.

When do you find yourself using the weapons though? Or - rather - when would you if you had the appropriate ammo for them?
