It seems like these drops are a console version exclusive. Most are already present in the PC-version!
But the ships skins are unique right?
Nope, on PC you already have the "2m players" ship skins :)
Yes, the Paved Streets. Since streets do not have a blueprint-state, if you lack the resources to build them when placing a Stamp, they're not placed/built, and you'll have to do that manually later.
There is a limit on maximum stamp size which we ultimately added after testing due to performance reasons.
Same
How much money is that in retail ? It doesn't feel like a lot they made which would be a travesty
While I ofc can't tell you any figures, we're overall VERY happy with the sales performance of our game :)
First you'd need to define what a tech tree actually is ;)
Is it a separate "research tree" to e.g. unlock a new unit or a production boost? (Anno 1701 had a research building that was central to progression, for example, Age of Empires has a variety of researchable upgrades, ...)
Or is it simply the option to progress (in potentially different branches)?
Cause the latter technically already exists in Anno: You progress continually throughout the game, unlocking new production chains, services, ships, ...
What we don't have, of course, is the tech tree itself: No way to see all these upcoming unlocks before actually reaching them. That might be a neat feature though (<- personal comment; no, we don't plan it for 1800)
That's good to hear. Any chance you could forward this one? Idk if this is the last update but it'd suck for flame monitors to remain unfixed.
That one's also fixed :)
Meh, it's underwhelming. Still no fix for the museum/zoo/botanical garden checkmark bug, still no better user interface to handle the items.
Since that's a bug fix and not an improvement, we didn't list it in this overview blog. But I can confirm a fix for the bug will be in the update.
I wonder that too, if there is some limit to the amount of differente stuff that can go into a stamp
There is a limit for the size of a Stamp (for performance reasons), but you can of course partition an island into multiple Stamps.
You can use those stamps but everything you do not (yet) have access to will be placed as a blueprint and has to be upgraded later (with the exception of advanced roads, since roads cannot be blueprinted)
It's not the game, as we don't have such a feature ;) (and Ubisoft Connect doesn't, either)
Aside from streaming software, maybe it's something from your graphics drivers?
No music player, sorry, I can already say that much. Both from an effort point of view as well as due to technical limitations. We still like the idea, though, maybe something for a future project.
Too late, I already have several means to reach you. With love obviously. Not a threat.
That's what Lady Hunt would say...
The L key doesn't remove the popups for the produced goods, it only removes the status icons of buildings (and mine slots, etc.). The +1 popups can be removed by checking the (confusingly named) option "Hide Transport Cart Icons" in the Gameplay tab of the options.
Good note on the "confusingly named" bit, by the way, we'll try to get that changed for the update.
Is this a challenge, my friend ?
I need an adult...
Hey all, many cool suggestions/wishes - some very specific to certain playstyles or situations, others with more general impact.
From what I've seen when scrolling through this thread, some points we already have on our list for the upcoming update, but there are also others where we can already and definitively say "no" to, for different reasons: Some would have a significant impact on performance (i.e. technical impact), others would require reworks or changes of systems that we don't want to touch anymore this late in development (i.e. effort and risk) and others are simply requiring too much effort (i.e. work hours) or at least too much effort for what we perceive as little gain or very specialized requests.
One can always do more of course: More production chains, more regions, more QoL features etc. etc. since both you and us have always more ideas. And that's great, it shows that it's almost impossible to do a perfect game even after already a lot to it - and...
Read moreDid I show them to you ? I remember traumatizing someone with them
wasn't me then, I'm mostly un-traumatized still
Recordbuilders will love this
Do not worry, we've already prepared the fix for the next patch
