Hey Anno Community,

Yesterday, we answered the question that had been on many of your minds recently: What does the future hold for Anno 1800? And since pictures can say so much more than mere words, we answered with our Season 3 Teaser, which you can watch once more right here:

Could you please forward us your savegame for investigation?
You can find it in Documents\Anno 1800\accounts\ACCOUNT ID\PLAYER NAME

You'd then need to upload it on a platform of your choice and send me the download link, either by posting it here on the forums or - if you prefer - via direct message.

As stated above, this is an issue related to Ubisoft Connect which can't be fixed just by ourselves but together with the Ubisoft Connect team (and is not only present in Anno 1800).


For anyone affected by the recent issue with the Club/Connect Rewards being shown as unlocked in Ubisoft Connect itself but are locked in the game, could you please provide info on the following points?
- Are you using mods?
- Are you playing offline?
- Do you have the game updated to the latest version? (9.1.968978)
- Did you receive any popups in-game or from the Connect Client (at the bottom of the game)

It's my first time I'm actually home on an update day, the previous ones were always downloaded a couple of days later.

rveij is correct, "City Lights" will release at 6PM CET today.

Hey everyone,

a desync usually happens when the data of two or more players is not in synch, i.e. a certain action a player triggered a bit earlier lead to different information being created on the machines of different players. As soon as the game notices this, the desync appears.

In most cases, loading an older savegame and not doing the action should solve it.

To help us figure out, which actions are likely to cause these issues, it would be great if you could send us affected "broken" savegames. Feel free to send them to me via private message.

Hey Peter, which steps did you try so far?
To list a few possible solutions:
- Verify the game files in Uplay, to check for potential issues
- Make sure you start the game with admin privileges
- if the folder in which the game is saved is a cloud drive (e.g. OneDrive), this can also be a problem. Make sure the saves are stored on your PC directly
- Check your antivirus, make sure it's not blocking the game or certain files. Try completely disabling it for a test
- Disable all non-necessary background programs before starting the game
