Hello everyone,

We always knew our community loves asking questions and share their feedback and suggestions for the game and future content. With Season 3 starting and its first DLC already releasing tomorrow, the number of questions just kept increasing - so, this week seems like a perfect opportunity to host an AMA here on the Anno subreddit (Which fairly recently celebrated reaching 30.000 Annoholics! Congratulations once more!)

It's true that choice is great and that it most likely wouldn't be an issue to have that as an option, but consider this:

Let's stick to the 10% and say: We need to put development resources (manpower, money, time) into a feature that only 10% of our players are interested in while we could alternatively use the time and money to develop something that more players would enjoy. A bit simplified, sure, but in game development (and any other kind of project planning), prioritization is super important.
Add to that the aforementioned point that we think this is going against what makes Anno "Anno" and we end up in a situation where we have to say: Sorry, but multiple huge islands or landmasses will not be added to the game.

Hey, for the issue of the ornaments being locked in-game:
Could you please try verifying the game files (https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Ar...ct-Desktop-App) followed by a restart of Ubisoft Connect.

This should unlock the ornaments in-game.

The plan is to provide more interconnectivity with all other regions with all three DLC of Season 3. Not as a requirement but as an option for you to choose (e.g. very simplified: do I use product A from the Old World to satisfy the need, product B from the New World or rather product C from Enbesa, something along these lines).

My save game suddenly requires Sunken Treasures DLC

If you have a savegame in which any DLC are activated (in this case you seem to have activated "Sunken Treasures" in this savegame at some point), it can't be played if you have (for whatever reason) not access to the DLC anymore (same scenario: you send your savegame to someone who doesn't have any DLC).
You can only continue playing this savegame when you own the related DLC.

We're aware of it not being properly displayed as "owned" in Connect - sorry for the confusion. However, you should be able to build the 3 new ornaments already.
This will tell you that it has been activated successfully.

Hey CrysKey,

since Uplay was updated to Ubisoft Connect last year, you're not earning Units anymore through challenges but through leveling-up.
This is not specific to Anno but is the case for all Ubisoft titles.

I purchased Season Pass 3 but it doesn't show as purchased

You can check in-game: If you can build the 3 new ornaments, the purchase went through fine :)
