After installing Uplay on the other PC, you can copy the whole installation folder of the game to that PC.
If you then open your games library and select Anno 1800, there's an option to locate an installed game:

Uplay will then check the game's files to make sure they're complete (if not, the missing/broken files will need to be redownloaded) and if all is good, you can start the game.

If you have cloud saves enabled, you will still see those even if you have deleted the local ones.
You can also delete your local savegames by deleting the respective folder. By defaut they're stored here: Documents\Anno 1800\accounts\

As long as we can't reproduce the issue, it's very difficult to find the source of it.
So, no, it's not a "will not fix" kind of thing, but without reproduction, the team will focus on other issues first.

That's why we keep asking for affected savegames.

Thank you, Waya85, will forward

Going by your description (greyed out in Uplay), it sounds like you're logged in with a different account now, not the one you originally activated the games on.
Could you double-check (email, username) that you're logged in with the correct account?

If you can't find the right account anymore, I'd recommend contacting our colleagues from customer support: http://support.ubi.com/en-GB/

Depending on the platform you bought it, you should find the game in your game library.
Let's assume you got the Uplay version:
- Start Uplay and login to your account
- Open the library tab and search for Anno 1800
- Download + install the game

Going by the recent comments there seem to be two different issues with the journal:
- people having it, but it not progressing the quest after reading
- not getting the journal at all

The team is still requesting savegames for the issue. We'd highly appreciate it, if you could send us (e.g. me, via PM) your affected savegame and a quick description, which of the two issues mentioned above is affecting you.

Apologies for the inconveniences caused by this bug.

Hey Twiztid.Tragedy, we had some issues with the store yesterday evening which caused some delays in order delivery.
I checked your account and you should now be able to find Anno 1800 in your Uplay account.

Apologies for the delay.

Hey Szaki,

sorry to hear you had issue with downloading Anno 1800 after your purchase.

The client for the trial version and the final game are different (the trial version, for example, is limited in scope) - which requires the main game to be downloaded separately.
For the same reason, savegames from the trial version are not compatible with the main game.

Hey Archdaimonia,

I get where you're coming from but at the moment there's no option to deactivate DLCs.

We have forwarded this feedback, though, since we received a few comments regarding such an option since release.
