Very interesting poll results. I'll check back again and hopefully see some more entries! I was especially surprised by the results of the Boss TTK poll!

Intrepid and the community has already been doing a pretty good job at smacking out any really bad vibes (which is good!). No one can get rid of all the toxicity but as long as the really bad ones don't make camp here that's a win in my opinion B) This thread is also making me have PTSD flashbacks to the many years in LoL and WoW arenas haha :D :'(

I like to think so too!

Agree with what Nerror said. But also, you'll still be able to build up a node from 0 to 6, it'll just take more work. The world is supposed to be ever-changing and not just on a first come first serve basis. Metropoli will fall sooner or later and some 5lvl node will be able to rise up. And if you play hard and smart enough, you might even be able to raise a lvl1 node to lvl6 through political intrigue and hardcore pvp.

Well said! <3

Some fun and interesting suggestions on which interpretations of fishing people like most! I'd love to hear more examples of the best fishing you've seen in games, and why that is ;)

So, I think I understand what you're getting at here.

For me, it was when I got into competitive gaming and eventually Esports.

I struggle to play single-player RPGs these days despite how much I love them because it's easier for me to hop on and grind competitive in multiplayer games. Sometimes, I don't even have fun but rather just a drive to win when I do so

This is one of the reasons why I love MMORPGs so much. I get the best of both worlds :)

Interesting discussion!

If you could integrate the potential of the Events system into your ideas, how would you do so?

I'm happy to report that Parlor Games (Tavern Games) are a confirmed feature of Ashes of Creation. You can read more about them here, on the wiki! https://ashesofcreation.wiki/Parlor_games

There will be an area called The Wreckage of Carphin. While it's not quite what you're describing, I thought I would share anyway ;) https://ashesofcreation.wiki/The_Wreckage_of_Carphin

Mount races are a suggestion I could see relating to our Event system, which you can learn more about here! https://ashesofcreation.wiki/Events

The team is testing different approaches to accommodate varying hitboxes between the races. There may be a single unified hitbox with some exceptions or some special collision rules as opposed to having different-sized hitboxes.

You can read more about this here, on the wiki! https://ashesofcreation.wiki/Hitboxes

Thank you to those who provided helpful links to the OP :)

It's ok to disagree on thoughts regarding the game, but let's not commandeer someone's thread just to be rude to one another on something that is off-topic.

Thanks! ^_^

The journey matters. Fuel your wanderlust and embrace the adventure!

Founded in the early days of the Pyrian Empire by the elven noble Lord Pyrravyn, Featherstone Royal Expeditions have endured for millennia. What began as a small, specialized escort service catering to travelers who sought armed and mounted protection while braving Verra’s bandit-infested roads, grew into a full-fledged caravansery, travel agency, and adventuring firm.

Pyrravyn’s heirs fled Verra during the Harbinger Apocalypse and took the company assets with them, setting up shop anew when they arrived on Sanctus. The company survived the Sanctus Interregnum and even prospered – at least as much as any other firm run by Verran expatriates. When the Divine Gates reopened, Featherstone employees were among the first to return to Verra, ... Read more
