Thanks for the heads up, everyone! We're working on a fix for this to be included in a future patch.
Comment
Some of you are already doing this, but could you just let us know exactly what you are doing where you're not seeing double AP earned? Also feel free to include things like locations, campaigns, etc. Thank you!
Comment
Thanks, we are aware and actively investigating this.
Comment
To be clear, you should be receiving double AP from player kills, player healing, and keep/outpost/resource captures, and those values will contribute toward AVA Rank and Leaderboards. AP is not doubled from Cyrodiil quests, due to how this needed to be setup. Can you all confirm if this appears to be the case or not, currently?

@ZOS_GinaBruno

Wait - I don't see double AP at all now. Was the fix to double AP not counting just to remove double AP entirely from the event?

Same here. AP coming up both in rank and on screen is normal, not double. Don't think it's working.

Checking now - stand by!
Comment
The hotfix for double AP is complete. Unfortunately we are not able to retroactively grant double AP earned from last week toward your rank, but anything earned from this point on will go toward rank advancement.
Comment
Test 1 has completed, and Test 2 is now live. From now until September 21, AoE abilities will have an individual cooldown of 3 seconds. Additionally, we have also hotfixed an issue with double AP earned not going toward your AvA skills or Leaderboard rank - this should now work as expected.
Comment
Hi everyone, wanted to let you know we are hotfixing this issue right now. We'll let you know as soon as the hotfix is complete, at which time any AP earned during the double AP event will count toward your Alliance War skills and Leaderboard ranks.

So when is this going to be fixed? Hot fix or next maintenance?

We're still working on getting everything finalized. As such, it's not likely this will be fixed before the weekend. We'll update again when we have an exact date. Thanks for your patience here, everyone.
