Right now, it is almost impossible to beat the bridge encounter without constant Tether spam and Well / Bubble if you're playing with random people, and even with a full stack it's barely possible.
Quick question: Are you basing this assessment solely on T3 reckoning?
As for the feedback on Blackout, rewards, and more - I'll make sure the team is aware of this feedback for the post-sandbox tuning world.

Snake faced bastard didn't read the patch notes, kept the same rolls. Issue has been identified, should be fixed at the release of Season of Opulence.
I think in a TWAB a while back they said the ship was being pushed into next/another season because of the bug

The Revelry Triumphs will be awarded, but be unable to collect because they’ll be hidden. Just like the Crimson Days Triumphs.

We've tested this in development builds. Triumphs should appear, and players should be able to complete them once the change is live.
Jubilant Engrams: In the week following Update 2.2.2, players who were erroneously awarded duplicate items from the Revelry’s Jubilant Engram will receive an in-game message informing them how this issue will be resolved for their account.

We're able to identify players in this state on the backend. Stay tuned for an in-game message.
When we start sending out messages, it may take a day or so for everyone to be notified. If you've been impacted by the error and don't receive a message, submitting a post to the #Help forum is what we'd ask you to do.

FWDing a reply that I just posted on Bungie.net concerning Blackout in Reckoning:
We've been monitoring completion rates and general community feedback. At this time, there are no plans to remove Blackout from Reckoning. I've seen a few strategies to overcome this modifier throughout feedback threads, ranging from weapon loadouts to specific subclasses being used against melee enemies. That, paired with teamwork, can lead to success.
We'll continue to pass along thoughts from the community to the team. Whether it leads to a change in this activity, or the team applies these learnings to future activity, it is greatly appreciated that many of you have taken the time to give feedback!
Serious question, and if it's been asked before then I have not seen it:
Could you reverse the change that made invitations only count on the planet specified?
That way we could visit Nessus/Mercury, finish the Invitation, then it could be changed back when a better resolution is found.

EDIT: I'm not 100% what all goes into developing, hence the question.
This issue impacted more than just the Invitations of the Nine quest steps. Reverting the global fix would break a few other things, and not address the actual issue that's impacting this quest.
Fixing the actual bug here will prevent future issues if we have quests like it in the future. We fully understand the bummer of being delayed a week on this step - I'm right there with you. We should have a fix pretty quick.
