Our emote is about as good as the Kraken have been this season.

Hue hue hue

(Maybe we'll rebound. Who knows. Most of the city is new to hockey, myself included)

Seriously though - good note! Doubt we'll update the emote. Will pass it up so we don't make similar mistakes for potential hockey-based content, IF we ever make more...

Hey, it's valid feedback. No need to lean in so hard.

Those 2 seconds can feel rough if you're being defeated over and over and over again. It's a pacing change, one that's pretty noticeable if you've been playing Destiny 2 PvP for the last few years.

There are a few things that the team wanted to hit:
- Avoid multiple spawns in a row of being killed by the same opponent, or potentially even same super.
- Give new players a bit of breathing room so they can see who killed them, with what, and where from.
- Help with pacing of a match - gives a bit more time to focus on objectives and such when enemies you've just defeated aren't immediately spawning within sprint range of you.

There's still work to be done, though. Some maps have pretty long lanes that can result in frequent spawn trapping, and there are still instances where players can spawn near one or two enemies because a team is so spread out. Team is aware of this and looking at f...

Inb4 "that's it?"

Short and sweet TWAB this week. We have a lot going on with supporting 30th. Crashes to solve, bugs to smash, and... well, a game to play!

Next week is our final TWAB of the year. Will likely be light as well as the team enters holiday mode. We'll still have DPS on hand for bug investigations and a handful of folks to keep the servers running, but this time of year is when we slow things down a bit.

Day 1.

Edit- I was hoping for a more comprehensive design. Maybe a version that was produced from the Rasmussen Clan (looks similar to Jotun with sparks lights, wrapped furs, etc) or Satou Tribe (Blue China style arms and maybe chainmail butterflies and a sick retractable scope). This is just like they slapped the Bergusian Night Black Armory Shader on it.

Sorry this one isn't hitting the right note. Team is aware that players want more alternative looks for the bow - and we'll keep passing that feedback along. There's still opportunity in the future for more.

So, with the weapon ornaments being able to be purchased from the gun itself, does this mean that the ornaments that aren't in the store will be available again? Because Outbreak's Pandemic and Patient Zero ornaments haven't been available

At this time, only ornaments featured in the Eververse will be visible on weapons. We have many ornaments in the Archive section, but still need to get some in there.

Don't have any additional info, but hope to provide updates when we can!

outside of that? it feels like we're going backwards. welcome back to D2 Vanilla

Y'know - this has been a concern on many of our minds since the tuning began. A lot of abilities have been dominating the PvP space for years now. While many of the goals outlined in the TWAB today are stepping abilities back a bit in PvP, there was no desire to return specifically to D2Y1 ability regen and cooldown.

Something to note is that a ton of the work being done for this update was to unlock the ability to tune abilities in a more granular fashion. Not just timers, but damage and other aspects of each ability as well.

The team will be watching feedback when these changes roll out on the 7th. Nothing here is set in stone, and it's pretty exciting to think that we can now go through feedback about say, tiers of supers, and have the ability to change ability cooldowns / how quickly you can earn the supers to bring them in line (rather than nerfing damage output or something like that.)

All of this is to say, we totally understand the concerns he...

Team is looking at Gambit during the year of Witch Queen. Understand the frustration on silence. We've made some hints along the way, but have yet to say anything specific.

Trials and Trials Labs are our first swing at updating support for ritual activities. This isn't just a testbed for improving Trials, but looking at our internal processes for patchwork and prioritization so we can improve our workflows for future ritual support.

Stay tuned.

Ah, and Re: Weekly Trials population dip - this is expected for many modes in Destiny 2. As a season winds down, we see populations dip in various activities. We've held a pretty healthy trajectory thanks to the improvements, but still have some iteration to do. We'll continue to provide updates in TWABs and such on what we're planning.

It's been awesome being able to provide frequent updates. Team is doing a lot on the backend to understand "What does it mean to revamp a ritual during a given season? How much work and time will it take leading up to the revamp, how many hotfixes might it need, what matchmaking tuning can we do with little wake?" - etc.

While they can't address every piece of feedback in hotfixes, they've been doing some great work on this. Cheers to those who have been giving constructive feedback. Has made conversations pretty easy internally on "how did players take this, what did they like, what didn't they like"

Hey all,

Looks like Cabal Slug Launchers will be fixed in the December patch. Other instances of higher damage taken due to framerate are currently under investigation. Can't give a timeframe on when they'll be addressed, but the team is digging.

If you find more instances of this, please make sure to report them on the Help forum over at Bungie.net.
