I hear you, and thanks for the feedback.

Plan was to keep this TWAB focused on armor mods (between changes to the artifact and a sneak peek at champ mods), with weapon news coming in just a few weeks. I understand this change impacts weapons specifically due to the nature of the change, but still wanted to keep the conversations split as we're still getting information together for the weapons TWAB. We've done this a few times before, going from weapons -> armor -> mods -> other, but obviously these had a little too much overlap to have a clean split.

Apologies for the lack of a full picture here. We've got bit to cover over the next 5 TWAB's, want to make sure each team gets enough time to finish up their content and work with us on the messaging. While we want to get you all of the information the moment we hear about it, sometimes things are still being tied down and we don't want to make promises that we end up not being able to keep. That said, we can do mo...

I can tell you now, it won't be. Can't give any specific dates, but don't get too hyped for the first TWAB of the year.

Usually they're light. Still have folks coming back from holiday and whatnot. We'll try to find some news to cover so it isn't too light.

Team will be looking at this over the next couple of weeks. Will let y'all know what's happening when a decision has been made.

We've got some emails out to the team about this.

Cheers to all who are hopping in to help New Lights in need.

Good feedback. I personally feel this could have the opposite effect, though. We've seen quite a few players drop off at simple quests steps of completing a few bounties or doing specific strikes. Asking newer players to find specific lost sectors, figure out what mods to wear, and to complete them potentially on their own may just end up dissuading them from ever trying a legend activity, rather than hitting up an LFG to get in on some cool seasonal content and potentially making some friends along the way.

Locked loadouts can be tricky business. While many of us on this subreddit are highly proficient in crafting loadouts and understanding what needs to be equipped before launching in, many players need the LFG component so party leaders can walk them through what mods to equip and what steps would be key to success in the long run. Would be pretty awkward to have 6 players matchmake into a Legend dares run, none of which have an anti-barrier mod equipped or arc-...

Depends on whether you've been naughty or nice.

Xur may show up with some godrolls. May show up with some lumps of coal. Who knows? His will is not his own.

I hate to be a broken record too - but it happens!

We don't have any additional information at this time. Team is aware of it, but don't have any ETA on changes or a fix.

Once we know more, we'll let you know.

Being that Scorch Cannons are a fairly substantial part of the new dungeon experience, is there any word on the drifting target reticle over time?

Many people have noticed that while you’ll often start out in fully third-person view, eventually the scorch cannon’s targeting reticle ends up directly over your head and body, which makes it a pain for targeting … especially if wearing armor like The Stag.

Edit: forgot the 23

Don't have any information at this time, but reports have been passed along to the team for investigation.

Slot imbalances can also affect pinnacle progression. When we say slot imbalance, this could be explained as those times you have a chest piece drop from pinnacle sources a few times in a row. We’ve been looking at player feedback for some time, and are investigating a few approaches to the problem space. We’re looking to have an update on that at a later date.

We do not have any additional information at this time.

I can say on the dev side, there's been work to better "balance" loot from various activities over the last year or so of content. As an example, it was thoroughly understood that an activity like Garden of Salvation had too many weapons in the Energy slot, which could make pinnacle grinding pretty frustrating during that era. Even with activities offering better variety over the last four seasons, we still see reports of streaks that end up slowing power gains in the pinnacle band.

Once we have more to share, we'll let you know.

  • Shoulder Charges and Ballistic Slam do not activate Blunt Execution Rounds
  • Kockout Empowered Melee's no longer count as arc melee abilties for the purpose of things like Insurmountable Skullfort.
  • The arc visual effect on your fist when you punch with Knockout Active is missing now.
  • Melee kills on enemies while you do not have Knockout will grant and then immediately remove Knockout from you, preventing you from gaining it if you kill a weaker enemy in one punch.

Thanks for the report - I'll pass this along.

Note: Best place to report issues is our Help forum over on Bungie.net - the player support team can gather account info for the bug reports to help in reproducing issues on the dev side. Can lead to faster bugs & fixes.

Hope you all have some excellent rest and fun for your time off, Bungie!

Team's digging on all crashes. PlayStation are most common at the moment.

We'll have more info in the new year.
