We're making a few changes here.
Also worth noting that we'll always be working towards faster zone transition times. At 1.0 it will be better than it is now though.

What about animation combos and mix ups? Seeing your character do the same hand animation all the time when using a skill doesn't look good. (See warlock videos).
Yea we’re trying to add variations for each skill. We won’t get to all of them for 1.0 but a whole lot of them will have alternate animations and we’ll continue adding more
- There's a bug in online on live that is making it so that screen-shake is not playing - fixed for 1.0.
- we're overhauling nearly every player animation as we've invested time into new rigs that help them move better - I'd say that many of these have meatier swings
- we're slightly increasing hit VFX
- we're increasing the hit sounds volume in the sound mix
- we're taking time to align on-hit VFX and damage numbers to play at the exact time that the swing makes contact - some of these are misaligned on live
- we've taken the stun VFX and pushed it up a bit above enemies heads as sometimes it was getting lost in some monsters actual models
This is for 1.0. We have plans to make it so that receiving hits feel slightly more impactful and also have plans to make melee-range flinches (we currently have them for enemies moving).
So yes, and more to come.

We made the transfer button glow intensely when you have materials to transfer for 1.0. Thanks for helping out a new community member u/tillkrse

Update: we increase the hit area significantly today. This change will be available at 1.0!
We want to try gold because we want people to feel they can and actually should use their crafting resources. We’ll be keeping a close eye on feedback and like all things we’ll be ready to iterate if we and the community feel it’s the right move.
Very likely dropping them in advance. The community is aware of most major changes we’re making so I’m sure a decent amount of it has been or could be aggregated. They’re going to be quite lengthy patch notes
Hey, thank you for your quick response. It's shitty that I got attacked for pointing out an issue, but I never meant to cause problems. I have friends that have played this game for almost 2 years and have nothing but nice things to say. I was literally gifted this game on steam because they want me to come play. ... At worst, my intent was to make sure you guys were aware of this potential issue being bigger than just me ahead of your 1.0 release. I can't imagine double registration emails going out to new players is ideal when you're hitting 1.0
Yea it’s definitely helpful - in the future we have some in-game tools for reporting issues or the forums which are considered the more “proper” areas to post problems. Either way, thank you for taking the time to let us know. Hope you’re enjoying the game and have a good new year!

We’re working to resolve a number of issues like this - I’ll make sure this is tracked and addressed.
WASD support would be awesome to add but I don't think everyone asking for it fully grasps the scope of what you're asking them to do. WASD isn't just something you "add" to a game that wasn't built with it in mind. It requires a substantial rework of a lot of game animations as well as a ton of rebalancing for skills. That'll take so much work that they might as well make Last Epoch 2. There's a reason why GGG isn't just gonna retofit WASD into POE 1.
When we announce LE2 you guys will know what the catalyst was 😄

We recently had a discussion on this and have plans to re-implement this albeit in a slightly different manner. Hoping to have that implementation in for 1.0 though it's a bit of a stretch goal. We haven't forgotten those that liked that ramped up difficulty.
