Exciting! I'm hyped for the Warlock and Falconer to come out. I was hoping you could confirm either way if there will be any expansion to Endgame content before/with 1.0?

No big end game system expansion at 1.0, though the item faction system will certainly mix into the end game loop. Don't worry - we have big plans post 1.0 and will be regularly releasing content. I've spoken to it a bit before, but it's worth reiterating in this response: We want and have plans for the following end-game content for post 1.0:

- Very high difficulty static (non-scaling) boss content
- More system layers to Monolith
- more itemization chases

This is of course a very quick, off-the-cuff list, so don't read into something not existing or anything like that.

Im glad to hear that. I made that big post last week about it and i really hope it portrayed my love and passion for this game! Feel like you guys chose a great timeline and sending the team all our energy we believe in yal!!

Edit: also i didnt think about it before but it really is amazing and very rare in gaming community for a playerbase to welcome and even encourage a delay in release for the betterment of the game instead of selfishly just wanting to play it sooner. Shows how much we truly love this game!

Cheers

I will say that people's posts prompting us to push back gave us a lot of comfort in doing so. I very much appreciate everyone looking out for the best interest of the game/studio!

We have a surprising amount of birthdays in the studio that week, including mine on the 18th. Will be a fun birthday!

Great decision to push the game back, gives the team breathing room to prioritize without crunch or scramble (hopefully). Excited for 1.0?

Extremely excited. Getting to go through and make things nice is already a ton of fun this development cycle.

Travelers,

I’m thrilled to announce that Eleventh Hour Games is launching the long-awaited 1.0 version of Last Epoch on February 21st, 2024. After a journey that started with the dream of uniting genre enthusiasts to create the next great ARPG and forming an after-hours team through Reddit, to holding a successful Kickstarter 18 months later, and then building Last Epoch alongside our passionate community throughout Early Access… we’re confident in saying that we’ve made something truly special.

Last Epoch's 1.0 launch will mark a new beginning for Eterra, and will set a new bar for quality, polish, gameplay feel, and visual excellence. Beyond 1.0, Eleventh Hour Games will bring substantial new content to Last Epoch every few months in what we call "Cycles". These releases will contain additions and refinements to many aspects of the game, such as end-game content, skills, unique items, gameplay systems, quality-of-life features, etc.

We're knocking out bugs very quickly internally now in preparation for 1.0. Keep an eye on socials today.

It's good enough to be linked inside of the studio's slack with people talking about it ;)

Make sure you save room to use a Rune of Creation at the end of the FP use!

Please open a support ticket and we may be able to help Support.lastepoch.com. Have you verified game files via Steam already?

I’ll chat with the dev team and see what we can do here. It’s definitely something we should have

Thank you for your reply. It always amazes me that unlike other game subs - there's always EHG Team response in this kind of posts.

I am super happy with the directions you took while designing the game. It's in beta and already offers so much more interesting gameplay than other full relased producs.

If not the bugs & server/client issues, you could easily say it's a full relased project and classes / trade will be coming in next "expansions". I believe 90% community wouldn't mind it at all.

and thank you for your feedback. I can’t promise we’ll never make mistakes or our servers won’t catch the occasional fire but I can promise we’ll always listen and prioritize communication - and of course fixing things that go wrong as quickly as possible.

I suppose I’ll use this opportunity to plug our new bug report tool as well. It’s seriously helpful to get in-game reports this way with attached logs and allows us to find and fix issues so much more quickly. Thanks for all the reports you guys have been sending in since 092 launch.

We hear you loud and clear. Before 1.0 we’re going to smash a serious amount of bugs and polish a ton.

The switch to server authority introduced a lot of issues. When LE is out of early access we’re going to hold ourselves to a high standard in terms of being bug free, and we know you all will too - but talk is cheap and that will be on us to prove. Thanks for your patience while we’re still working towards this and I’m glad to hear you’re still enjoying the game even with the issues there are to fix.

It’s on our list of gamepad updates 👍

While this is a significant undertaking, because we do aim to release on consoles in the future it is something that we'll be tackling.

We don't believe long cooldowns are healthy for an ARPG because longer CD abilities are often saved until a strong threat arrives, essentially solving that encounter for you. We don't want the solution to every large threat to be using a cooldown. Short cooldowns certainly do have their place, but we often prefer to gate with mana, combo build ups, charges, etc.

Many times verifying game files fixes this. If you’re playing in a party ask your party members to do the same. Even I personally was having this issue and verifying game files fixed this. It may be something different but this is the most common cause and fix for this issue

Trying to steal my ungeared Druid, Quadric?!

Haha no it looks like a failure to load some character data, and Kindly is right, the Moxjet2002 is a default text string there. Haven’t seen this one often but I’ll report it internally. Sorry for the scare.
