Keep in mind, this driver did not show up when using sigverif. Also, my copy of windows 10 and my other device drivers are completely up to date.

You’ll definitely be getting email surveys, and the ones about gameplay content and balance will almost certainly be written by yours truly. Building surveys and analyzing data from them is one of my responsibilities on the team. We’ve sent out a few already, actually!

There are currently no plans to support Linux or to add support for Virtual Machines. We don't support virtual environments for a wide range of security issues. However, that does not mean we have not thought about ways we could.  Some of the best Security Researchers I know and work with prefer to run only Linux, and emulate Windows when needed. So Linux & Wine support is an on going passionate discussion but I am sorry I can't make any commitments at this time.

No need to worry on this one - we'll be involved more frequently than that. Like Trevor said in the video, we don't want to commit to a specific cadence right now because we want to figure out what works best for the game's health and community, but it's incredibly safe to say that we'll be patching much more frequently than 6 months.

We'll be gathering feedback from you all over the course of closed beta (and past that) on topics like this - how balanced you feel various pieces of the game are, how you feel about the current rate of change in the game, etc.

Hm, there's not an option for it actually.

You could force it by going to this folder "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\ShooterGame\Saved\Config" and deleting the folder with the long string of letters and numbers (you should have just one, or maybe two if someone else plays on your PC). This will force the game to use defaults.

Hey, look at us. Patch notes in a closed beta. Who would have thought? This short and sweet patch addresses the giant Raze in the room, cameras that somehow learned how to shoot, and some map updates.

Raze is lethal, no doubt, and we predict savvy players will perform better against her over time. Still, we made some light changes that should bring Raze’s offensive pressure closer to the other agents. We’re also buffing melee to give players in the early rounds a better way to deal with Sage’s Barrier Orb—while still making it a calculated risk. Don’t worry Sage mains, your Slow Orb now slows those bunny hoppers, too.

And we’re booting the phrase “camera-gun” back to English spy films where it belongs.

We have a full fix coming soon, but for now, this issue only happens when material quality is set to LOW.

Description: Attempting to change resolution or switching between Fullscreen, Borderless Window and Windowed mode doesn't change the resolution to the one I want, it just defaults to 1024x768 no matter what I do, the only way I can play the game in a native resolution is if I play in Borderless Window mode... and that's how I've been playing since day one. Windowed fullscreen will only run at your monitor's native resolution.

If you want to use a lower (or higher) resolution than your monitor's native resolution, use Fullscreen, or Windowed.

Were you trying to force a stretched resolution? We do not support stretched resolution in VALORANT.

Please try restoring default settings - it doesn't even show a monitor selected in your screenshot, so I think you may have gotten the game into a bad state.

Thanks for the report! We're aware that shotguns are particularly rough on performance for low end PC's, and we're looking into some optimizations for that :-)

Ah, this is a good one. This actually happened to me once as well, so there's a bug reported for it, but I'll add your info. Useful to know that it happened to you just walking in!

Making prioritization calls is REALLY hard, and there's a lot that goes into it. It's part art, part science, part black magic, and I'm not going to pretend that we'll always make the right calls. These are just some of the things we have to consider for any of our development choices, so hopefully, over the long term, we get more of them right than wrong, and make a game that folks really enjoy!

Disabling observer slots would solve the issue, but would stop anyone from running tournaments or in houses with viewers...and ultimately, that feels worse than giving additional information to players.

Turning off the spectator count which provides a lot of tension and excitement as you see the number tick off when you're sitting in a 1 v 2 trying to clutch is a fairly high cost, and I'm not intimately familiar with the tech, so I don't know how feasible it would be to do quickly.

Hopefully the overall value of having a spectator count, and the way it can make your exciting moments of VALORANT that much more exciting offsets the fairly rare use case of additional information in tournament or custom game play. And when the fix is live, it won't be a problem at all!
