In all srs tho awesome thank you a ton, the game is awesome so far and Its absurdly good for beta. Any suggestions in the meantime you might have to work around this kinda issue?
If there's a performance issue it'll be on our side and we'll need to fix it.
The best work around would be to uninstall Riot Vanguard (from Add/Remove programs). You won't be able to play Valorant until it's reinstalled (the game launcher will do it) but it will mean that there's no chance of a Vanguard bug impacting anything on your system.
(VBoxUSBMon.sys) this is not in my system and I ran sigverif to no avail. everything is clean. Please help, everything ran smoothly today until my internet cut out. then after that it kept saying I had to reboot my PC in order to install Vanguard. Even though I have it! I tried reinstalling it too and rebooted my PC 10 times but nothing works. I'm not a big computer guy, all I know is how to play games. I love riot and their games but this whole anti-cheat is a bit over the top. I understand that you want the best anti-cheats but to the avg consumer it just becomes too much work. I would still like some help though!

Any option that vanguard will allow for virtualization in the future? I still don't want it on my main machine.
It's unlikely that we'll support virtualization but I wouldn't say never.
Re-commenting for ping, vanguard stops vmware vms from working
The initialization of the VMware Workstation device driver has failed. Execution of this virtual machine cannot continue.
It was fixed for like a day, but broke again today with the new patch. It always works if i rename vgk.sys to something else and restarting (to prevent the kernel driver from running) and always crashes when vgk is running.
I should be able to use VMs on my host system!

We did include a fix for the ping spam. It was excluded from the patch notes in error but is in the update. Patch notes for the patch notes being updated tomorrow:

Post-patch, pinging items on the ground will be rate limited the same as other pings.
Was hoping they have the fix of limiting ping spam on guns/spike that can cause game client fps to tank by griefers.

Did they also fix the people who spam pinginging guns/spike dropping to single digit fps. Doesn't happen much but usually one in every 5 or 6 games there is a troll doing this.
A fix is part of the patch, yes. It got left out of the patch notes but will be added in a bit.
u/RiotBrentmeister, since i see you are only one willing to talk about fps issues from Riot side, i need to ask for your advice.
I literally tried everything to fix fps drops from turning on 'disable fulscreen optimization', OCing CPU, Turning off SMT, cleaning %temp% files, OCing GPU, Scanning viruses, updating all drivers, and many other things.
Met few people with similar cpu like mine R5 2600, they have no issues at all.
In my case most fps drops i get on 'Bind' map where it can drop from 230 to 85 if i shoot and have some spells around me, while on other 2 maps i have fps drop maybe down to 115, 120 which is acceptable since its beta. (Noticed some weird drops while looking at certain parts of the map quite weird)
I think i had no issues like now, it all started since second last update like week ago? Not sure.

Since you mentioned others with the same CPU get better performance off the top of my head I'd suggest:
Checking CPU temps (can be down-throttled if it gets too hot) Checking that your RAM is installed in the proper slots to make use of dual-channel. (this can be killer to performance and is hard to detect)

We're not banning for the use of AutoHotKey right now with the exception of blatant cheatery like pixelbot/recoil control scripts.
If we change our stance on this in the future we'll make sure everyone hears about it!

You could try deleting everything in that whole folder and then launch, see if that fixes it?
Also make sure that you changed your Nvidia settings back to default.
If that doesn't fix it, I'd recommend reaching out to player support, I'm not an expert in troubleshooting this kind of thing.

Unfortunately this is just the design of windowed fullscreen. It will always match your desktop's resolution. Fullscreen will match your monitor's native resolution. This is mostly an Unreal/Windows concept. We are shipping out a few updates to window mode, so the behavior might change to how you want it in a couple of weeks, but I don't think so.
You could try windowed?

I have had a ticket open from riot support but they stopped responding. Its been 4 days since the last time i wrote back and the responses i've gotten have been.. well... quite redundant and dumb.Here is the ticket id: #47176064 In case you would like to take yourself a look. There i have explained every way i have tried to fix this problem and also gone into detail about the steps taken when doing said fix. Notice that the riot support keep suggesting me to do the same things i have told them i have already tried.Some things that arent in there because i dont want to bump my ticket to get another week for them to reply is that i've looked for any of suspicious .sys files that another thread was talking about (gdrv.sys , any of the vbox, etc) but i have NONE of those on my computer...
A. Please do not flame riot support. I understand you're frustrated, but it's just rude.
B. We're working on ways to better identify if there's a problematic driver/program on your machine. If you are tired of trying these steps, please just wait and hopefully a future update will help!
