Do you happen to have a controller connected?

This is a known issue and will be resolved in the next patch, however, for many players the cosmetics are randomly returning on their own. It’s likely this will eventually happen for you too. If not, rest assured the patch will sort it out. Sorry about this!

Please PM me the URL to your Steam profile and I’ll ask our Backend Engineers to check this out. Unfortunately, it won’t be until next week now.

We’re working on Cross Play but until you see it advertised as a feature, consider it not a feature.

The way cosmetic items are being stored in the backend has been re-written for Be’lakor to make space in the inventory, but at this point it only applies to new accounts. This is because our Backend Engineers want to monitor how it works with new accounts - and iron out any potential issues - before committing the change across existing accounts. So this change will come, and space will be made in your inventories, once our Backend Engineers are 100% happy with it.

My name is Juras Rodionovas, and I’m the Lead Character Artist on the Darktide team. Together with many talented colleagues, I’m working to bring the characters and horrors of Atoma Prime to life. I love everything gritty and creepy, and so working at Fatshark on a project like Darktide for the past two and half years has been nothing but a joy.

Today, I’m super excited to provide an insight into the character customization in Darktide and talk about how we’ve worked together to allow players to create their own characters of the 41st millennium in the Warhammer universe.

We’ll take a look - can you please provide your console log from the session this happened?

To do so:

1. Press the Windows key + R
2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs
4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names
5. Upload the appropriate console log to us
