Sound
  • A bug has been fixed that caused an absence of sound events with gun fire on ground and naval vehicles under certain conditions.
  • A bug has been fixed where sound events for engines on ground vehicles and aircraft were missing.
  • The engine sound for incoming allied/enemy aircraft has been made clearer.

No other game is like War Thunder, so no, it is not the same at all and has no comparison to this.



Thunderskill only uses the data of those that use the site and the majority of people that use the site are high skilled / veteran players, hence why the AUBL number is high. Its not at all reflective of the actual numbers.



There was no "heavy backlash" over these machines. There is always those that disagree with changes, but in the wider community as a whole, there was no backlash and in fact, those tanks actually improved the numbers of Italian players and people playing at those ranks, achieving their main goals which was to create more balanced lineups and make the tree more attractive by filling gaps whilst other native tanks are in development.

As I said previously, when we have new vehicles to announce, they will be done in dev blogs.

The carrier models in development are in no way related to any aircraft that did or did not operate them. There is no link between the two.


The carrier models come when they come.

In future yes as for all nations where possible. That includes jets.

USA never used that variant and right now there is no real need for another US Sabre.

MB.157 was generally needed in its position for the main tree. We have other considerations in mind for more fighters too for the tree



Indeed, but there is also a fine line between troll / meme / derp vehicles and actually interesting vehicles that people want to get. Event rewards should be aimed at the maximum number of people, not a small niche or with uninteresting machines.



This is a totally meaningless and irrelevant comparison as other games create fantasy, made up or mostly fake vehicles then with made up or values or features, much smaller trees, a mostly arcade and non realistic setting, a much narrower range of vehicles to choose from and with artificial advantages all of which don't occur here. Thats like saying "well the MP5 was popular in Call of Duty so why not in Battlefield?" - Two different games, different settings, different scenarios and ...

Churchill III, Churchill VII, M4A3E2, T14, T26E1-1 - Zmieniono liczbę odrodzeń (zmniejszono do 1, czyli takiej samej ilości jak innych czołgów ciężkich).


T26E1-1 - czołg został usunięty z zestawu 8.5.

Powyższy rejestr zmian odzwierciedla główne zmiany w grze w ramach tej aktualizacji. Niektóre aktualizacje, dodatki i poprawki mogą nie być wymienione w dostarczonych uwagach. War Thunder jest stale ulepszany, a określone poprawki mogą być wdrażane bez aktualizacji klienta.

  • Churchill III, Churchill VII, M4A3E2, T14, T26E1-1 - the number of spawns has been changed (reduced to 1, similar to other heavy tanks).
  • T26E1-1 - has been removed from setup 8.5.
The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.
