Hey folks,

Hurray! Today we’re launching v2.1.0 across PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. This patch mainly focuses on competitive play and online bug fixes. Thanks to our friends at Groove of War for the feedback!

Gameplay Balancing:

  • Fog of War sight ranges reduced across the board
  • Single Player and Co-op campaign balance changes due to sight range reduction
  • When a unit is ambushed and ends on a neutral unit, it will backtrack instead of dying
  • Nuru’s groove charge rate reduced from fast to medium
  • Spectator can now spectate online campaign matches

This is the entry thread for the 6th Community Choice Award, where one map selected by you will be featured in the Maps Spotlight dev blog.

Any biome, map or custom campaign will be considered, except from those with NSFW contents (incl. bad language and naughty map design) or those that have already been featured in a previous Map Spotlight post. Reposts from previous threads are fine so long as the map hasn't already been featured, but we'd really welcome new maps, especially ones featuring the new DLC Commanders!

The original post could have been phrased better. But I can confirm there is one especially annoying bug still present since Double Trouble release which kicks you out of a multiplayer lobby after each of your turns, so you have to constantly rejoin. Anyone else experiencing this one?

Another bug seems to happen when one player in a 3+ player match resigns or disconnects. It not only causes an error for me which kicks me out of the room but whenever I rejoin, it constantly keeps kicking me immediately, so I cannot finish the game.

It would be nice to have these issues looked at.

Edit: Forgot to specify that I'm playing on the Switch. I can imagine different systems will be facing different issues.

The team has been working on fixes for issues which we can reproduce since the Double Trouble launch - there's some online ones in particular that have been giving us (and ofc you guys) some grief. We're going into patch review with these soon, so will let you know as soon as we have the patch available. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Spacefront, do you know what lead to the 1st bug specifically? Do you know what map it was? We can dive in & take a look.
