Per the DevBlog:

"Levels will cost much less on the main server (for example, 625 doubloons in 0.11.10)."

It's similar to the Dockyard in this sense.

I remember when the +500 XP was able to make a challenge mission doable in Co-Op, so I'll have fond memories of that reward.

I do agree that having the reward track be able to be completed without logging in each day is a good change. Max'ing out on Post-Progression Rewards would require going hard on Dailies, though.

It adds up over the length of the Daily Chain.

The current format marked internally is:

The first four parts give 1 BPP each (4 total)

The last two parts give 2 BPP each (4 total)

You receive 2 BPP when the chain is completed (2 total)

= 10 BPP for the Daily Chain

This could be subject to change as the system is not yet Live, but it's unlikely it would need to be altered.

We have hundreds of employees working on a variety of different projects at any given time. In this case, details got updated in one area but word didn't get passed quickly enough for the article being published. The article also had an out-of-date picture which was more used to show the idea as opposed to specifics.

PTS is more for testing than drilling down into specific rewards/mission conditions. This being a big topic, information needed to be more clear so we made a DevBlog specifically to address the community concern.

It's intended to be part of the game. There is a Free Pass (which is described in the DevBlog), a Paid Pass which gives bonus rewards that are quite a good value, and a Premium Paid Pass which gives additional benefits as well as a supplemental Mission for Battle Pass Points (which makes moving through the track/levels easier).

Last week there was some community concern over on Reddit about the free rewards from the Battle Pass since it was replacing the Daily/Weekly/Monthly missions.

I looked into that and found the information wasn't matching our internal numbers, so we dove into it further internally and have created a thorough explainer DevBlog: https://blog.worldofwarships.com/blog/381

Thank you for your patience!

Some highlights on the differences are:

Coal and Steel

Currently, you would need to log in every day to get all the Coal and Steel

28 days of Dailies = 1120 Steel and 11,200 Coal

The Free Pass can get all the Steel and Coal with only 13 Dailies completed and 3 Weeklies

13 Sessions = 1,200 Steel and 12,000 Coal ...

There will be a DevBlog about the Free Pass rewards coming out soon that goes into depth on the topic. Don't have a definitive ETA, but "very soon" is what we're aiming for.

Italian 203mm guns are not known for their raw pen, however they do carry what pen they do have very well due to the great ballistic profile of the shells. You should be able to citadel a Salem out to 18ish kilometers, but if it starts to angle at all significantly you'll find you're just not going to punch through. SAP tends to be the more reliable choice in most situations outside of exposed Light Cruisers at range or Heavier Cruisers at medium ranges.

The number on PTS is artificially high to encourage players to play battles and earn the Battlepass Points in the standard way.

When PTS accounts are copied over it can also copy Doubloons (or add an amount). If the number was low enough, players could buyout the Battlepass Track and not even need to play battles to get the 2k Community Token reward from finishing the Battlepass.

With a few rare exceptions when I need to try something for work-related reasons, I tend to stick to this advice. Tech tree ships allow me to learn at my own pace and adjust. I feel like if I use a premium, I am expected to know how it works and perform adequately.

Lol would love to see Ocean Map in the rotation.
But while there is some degree of "hurry up and wait," I found that the moment positions broke and calamity ensured to be a very informative experience.
