Sprint 1 is over and players requested the counter be reset between Sprints during the Easter Egg event earlier in the year. The tokens were removed to allow Sprint 2 to be a fresh start.

Reward crediting takes a few days. There has to be a data pull to grab the end-information for all the participants, then an internal distribution process has to be undertaken to get all of the rewards credited. A lot of it is done by hand when we do these portal-article events, so it takes some time.

It's Friday and the EU office is the one spearheading this event. It's likely rewards won't arrive until early next week as folks are out of the office already (it's 7:30pm over there).

I understand the concern. Language-barriers can be tough.

Use of the term "Anniversary" can easily mean "Birthday" to someone who is a non-native English speaker which was the case in this instance. Fortunately, the situation has been figured out in the end.

I looked into it and yes, CS replied referencing a Birthday Coupon which is not correct.

However, I found that the OP filed a Ticket on the 20th of last year asking about their 6th Anniversary reward. The response was that their first-battle anniversary fell on the 21st, so the 20th was too early. In this case, it seems that has repeated.

As last year was the 6th Anniversary, that would indicate this is the 7th Anniversary. The 7th Anniversary reward automation may still not be set up yet, which would mean that a reward would not be forthcoming until that process is finished.

You might be thinking of the situation posted in the message below yours. The 7th Anniversary (not Birthday) campaign was not created at the time. I'm not aware if it's finished yet, but @Cobarusseems to have mentioned they haven't received anything yet so my assumption is "not yet".

Pings, no.

Block/Blacklist is a way to stop getting spammed by people that use the voice/ping actions relentlessly.

The non-"All or Nothing" option is using Block or Blacklist to remove people from chat you do not want to interact with.

If you want to chat only with your Div-Mates, just Block everyone that isn't in your Div.


If you want to chat only with your Teammates, just Block everyone that isn't on your Team.

It's extra steps compared to a single-click chat disable, but additional clicks is a normal price for more specific results.

Battle Pass is a system where in-game engagement yields rewards. You play and get extra stuff for playing.

Premium Time is a system where each battle yields better returns on your play. Credits/XP are increased for every battle you play without any form of engagement metric; you just get more out of each game.

Both systems do lead to in-game rewards in their respective ways, but they are different systems that do different things.

Just to contribute something from my personal story here.

I started playing this game because the CV Rework was interesting to me. I played in Co-Op every day for 2-3 weeks just trying to learn how to kill the bots fast enough to avoid losing (since bots in the New Player queue shot better than the players and slaughtered them back then). I moved to Randoms for more economical usage of Signals/Camos, not to have some powertrip or whatever.

I normally play a game to high capability and then move on. What actively kept me here was the community's negative actions toward CV players because I was concerned for how players were ripping into other players as though they weren't people. To me, that was awful and I tried to teach CV concepts, mechanics, and tactics to help ease this problem. It didn't solve it, but I literally became very involved in this community because I was really concerned about how badly players were treating other players.

Correct, we did announce this a little bit back. It wasn't on the PTS to test last week so I haven't seen it in person, so far.

You can disable chat. Holding Control provides a mouse pointer while in-game. You can select the speech-bubble underneath the chat window that has an X on it to disable player chat (pings/voice commands, consumable uses, and achievements still come through).

Yeah so it's actually kind of a mix of the two. When it comes to my personal growth in the game, I want to be able to play ship lines and things as any normal player would (I find some personal value in having this perspective, in comparison to @Boggzy, @Ahskance and @Gaishu_Isshoku who were all pros before joining WG), but I also get regular access to all new content through the methods described above. It's very, very important to me to have first-hand experience with new content (again, so I see and use this content as any player would).

The modpack has been designed and tested for installation on physical machines and is not meant to be installed on virtual machines. Unfortunately, we cannot help you with this issue.
