There isn't and likely won't be one on the steam side- They don't have any presence here and I'm not entirely sure they visit here much beyond collecting usable reports from the bug reports section.

Major updates, in general, Yes.

Minor updates typically let you carry your saves forward (EG: A19.1, A19.2, A19.3)

Major updates are generally not compatible with old saves (EG: A18.x, A19.x, A20.x)

With that said, Major updates also come much more infrequently for this very reason.

I don't need a lot of space for a single player base. But I want the strongest materials possible, and I like to be up off the ground. I also don't want to worry about sleepers. Accordingly, I find the concrete building remnants the best option among existing POIs. Since they tend to appear in town across the street from each other, I've also taken to making bridges to connect multiple of these remnants, mostly to open up places to escape if the primary site of the base is compromised.

You're right that PvE is the bigger driver for how they develop the game. In the next Alpha, the clothing and armor system will be overhauled, so don't get too attached to anything you see now. The two will be combined into an 'outfits' system with fewer pieces that serve the purpose of both clothes and armor, with bonuses for wearing a complete set. One goal of the new system is to eliminate any visual oddities where one item sticks through another.

There is no specific area to hunt deer, They can spawn anywhere at any time (Although I -think- they're slightly more common in the forest biome.)

Yeah, One of the bar brawling books removes the Visual aspect of getting drunk (That is to say, you won't see a blurry screen when drunk.) -- You do in fact still have the drunk buff after drinking a beer though.

You can boil the jar; You only consume the jar when making actual cooking recipes that use it like boiling an egg. You can purify the water and drink that with no issue.

I guess I kinda get what you mean? But like... How exactly do you show 'Crafting' in a screenshot? just a picture of the UI? Not exactly flashy or eye catching. In fact to any user looking at the screenshots it's bland, boring, and basically just a bunch of text that makes no sense out of context of gameplay.

Same with building, what, take a pic of a building in progress? Any of the buildings in the screenshot could conceivably be built with player hands (Albeit in some cases using creative mode); So how exactly do you explicitly show 'building' when anything in game could be made? Given that anything COULD be made by player hands, Showing off literally any building demonstrates what a player could build; Eg, the first four shown screenshots.

Similar with coop, honestly, What, show an extra player in frame alongside all the zombies? That just adds an old and very ugly model to the frame with a nametag over it. Not really eye catching; They might do something li... Read more

I use mods on and off. the SMX UI overhaul is one of my favorites though. And also anyone one of the bigger backpack mods, since i'm a packrat hoarder who loathes leaving even a scrap of paper behind. :P

Ah.. Are you relatively new to 7DTD? I'll give a short explanation then. The game, on default settings, has what is called a Blood Moon on every 7th night, in which a great deal of zombies appear and rush your location trying to kill you, forcing you to defend against and outlast them until morning. These 7 day hordes get progressively harder, so day 14's is harder than 7s; 21's is harder than 14s, etc. So a day 28 horde is very difficult in comparison to a 7 day horde.

You absolutely can. Dedicated servers can put any value between 0 and 24 in the 'daylight hours' field, and pretty much any value from 1 and above in the total day length field. You could absolutely set it to 24 hours realistic time cycle, and tweak the day hours to what matches your time zone.

However, there's a few issues with this.. First, when no user is on, time doesn't pass. Second, Doing this, your first horde night, when you reach it, is going to absolutely stomp your face flat if you don't prepare properly. (Imagine that it's going to be a day 28+ horde night, not a day 7 horde.)

Save games are themselves in the ballpark of 100mb-1gb+ depending on the overall length of the save, and also require the source world to even function, which itself is 200-1.5~+gb depending on world size (And lets be real here, Basically everyone plays an 8k or 16k world, which means worlds in the ballpark of 800mb-1.5~gb)
